well i know for a fact that if a spot open red it usually TRIES to fill it

ppl quiting is NOT new to gaming....ENTIRE teams quitting is not new

every game is like that....U2, MAG, BC2, MW2 it has happened in all these games i played (i think mw2 ends the game once the opposing team is empty tho, not sure but i know i have played mw2 games with only one man against 4-6 sometimes). If [b[all[/b] did quit then it should have ended the game

bottom line when ppl gettin lvl cutass they WILL quit which is why i dont support the ranking systems in most of these games and actually love d Halo ranking system which is based on skill so games are more evenly matched

You miss my point, I not complaining about people quitting, we have all experienced that when a team losing bad and getting level cutass they leave....but for the entire team to leave and the GAME not fill in the spots or END, that is a problem....we not talking about a few minutes here, we were without an enemy team or even a single enemy for 10-15 minutes...hence having time to take photos and play the a$$.....

red, just for my clarification, that would be a shortcoming in the console version?

The PC version has a different dynamic. As in gamers directly choose which server to join. Am I right?

I have witnessed this on PS3 as well I guess it is only a problem on the console version. As others have said PC does not seem to be affected by this issue, I guess cuz people can choose the server?

not to mention they can come an go in the same server as they please, that means if people decide to rage quit cause they side not doing well others can just join the server an replace them while in progress.

and the lag is definitely on my side cause I still using a 1mb connection from Blink but i dont get lag problems when playing Call of Duty World at War or Call of Duty 4.

that's what I'm thinking, which isn't to say its all peaches on the PC side but that's one less thing we have to worry about.

It would be nice, for instance, if you could tell how far along a game is before joining.

I've dropped into some Rush games where the enemy has already taken the majority of the bases to be greeted with a brisk defeat. lol. Not so good for the stats.

Or in a conquest with the enemy spawn camping our position. You could barely survive the onslaught for 20 seconds let alone venture out to take a point.

Still fun though.

True it would be good to see how far long the match has gone but one troubles me is that is the winning side notice that the opposition is dwindling player wise why dont they switch sides to level it out instead of making it a one sided affair?

This is why I hate playing against human opposition sometimes they have no respect for their opponents an decide that they so big an bad that go on to take advantage. If Auto balance is in the console versions why didnt it balance the sides thats what I want to know?

question, if you leave a game before it completes, does that count as a loss? Or do you get away scotch free....no mark against your stats?

I dunno yes but I would consider it a loss cause you dont gain the full points at the end of the round tho I am not 100% sure about it.

Ok so they DONT have Auto balance on the console. Did developers ever think bout including auto balance in their console games to begin with when it comes to Multiplayer?

Its done in MW2 and Halo 3 and other Multiplayer games....If people drop out of games, there are always more people filling the gaps, but for some reason DICE and EA have left that aspect out...errrrrr ok...

Lets hope so....don't get me wrong, I am enjoying the game, and I know with every game there is a glitchy period that it goes through when first released. So thumbs up if DICE releases a patch soon!

Speaking of glitch, we happened to end up with a squad of 5!! last night ROFL! Just by a glitch in the Matrix perhaps....

*phew* that took a while to read XD.

As for any comeback it's only as much bull%hit as ur arc XD

I DID forget any props you gave MW2 as your negativity reigned in so heavily that who would remember XD

You mentioned that your comments are towards the PC version but Arc do you OWN both and PLAY both? *crickets churping*... you've played HOURS of MW2 online multiplayer to say it's full of fail? *More crickets*

BF2 is team oriented MW is both team and lone wolf so fair enough that PWNING in BC2 isn't a mechanic, but I tip my hat to the game that gives me more experiences for my money, BF is 1 short. But hey that's why we play MW2 when it's just you and BC2 when we can get a squad.

The whole vacation thing, hacks etc, they DID get fixed and I have been in (I can count on 1 hand) not many games where it waas an issue, Just the same redlum is STUCK in a window, so both games have their problems, and they both don't get fixed over night so I don't really see this point, it's a pot shot at BEST

Yes BF is in the crosshairs, it's only fair :)

I can guarantee that if they combined the best of MW2 and BFBC2 we'd never leave out houses, but neither game is PERFECT as is, but they are great in their own ways.

I did agree with you, u did point out a few good points of MW2 but mostly negative and you don't even play it. I play BOTH and will play BOTH alot, I have firsthand an appreciation for where each will fall down, but yuh won't find me posting EA CEO was caught getting his DICK s^&ked and they fired the secretary. THat's just retarded.

We have just distributed a new server version named R7 to the server hosts.

Early signs from the hosts are good with 20% less load on the server CPU, improved hit detection, Veteran rank handling is fixed so you should get your M1 Garand back now plus some other fixes to better help the server hosting companies and better management of Punkbuster ID's.

The long awaited stats pages of Battlefield Bad Company 2 are going to go live at approximately 10:00 PDT/18:00 CET/17:00 GMT at www.battlefieldbadcompany2.com

This includes the new Battlefield Veteran page too.

From Supernewby:
You will need to login to the site to view other player's soldier pages!
We will be removing that restriction in the future.
