Yeah the game isn't perfect but fun nonetheless. It comes down to preference. I prefer the more team oriented gameplay of the Battlefield series. Instead of calling in killstreaks I like to be the pilot of "death from above" hehe. Just wish there was an easy way to get more than 4 people on the same team.

Wyatt, I find the physics in terms of bullet trajectory to be pretty realistic... there is an arc that the bullet follows the further away you fire the weapon. I have no problems sniping men across the map, but there is a trick, you aim higher than the guy's head but line him up with the vertical line on the scope....I've had many a head shot from long distance and have gotten used to the arc pattern of the bullet. You can't expect to aim dead center of the scope and hit a man from long distance in real life....that's why there are wind and angle calculations that snipers do to shoot people from great distances. I guess they wanted to make it as realistic bullet wise....LOL

This guy gets it.  :)



I agree Crixx 100%...its only fair, even though I not hearing Arcman chiming in.. :P

Oh I'm having a GRAND time...PS3 issues notwithstanding.  There are issues, but
I'm having way more fun here.  I am pretty sure that all issues will be properly addressed in timely patches.

I intend to play this one for a looong time (or at least till Battlefield 3).

Cause last night I racked up almost 23 kills rambo 3 style on a shielded sentry gun while spotting like mad for the rest of the team.

I waz feelinz like a bozz

But give it some time, I was missing like mad while running as mainly assault when I started playing but I got the aiming down and can pop heads easily with any class.....

Anyway enough chatting more killing  :happy0203: .......       um yeah when I get home from work  :lol:

Hehe I was just trying something new, this game is so much better when you play with coordinated people. Last night I was flying the Blackhawk and we were doing some covert ops in the enemy base. I would give the "go" code and my 3 squadmates would bail out close to the enemy objective while my gunner gave support from the air. Kept doing that and going for repairs, serious domination lol.

Yeah the assault really does work with burst fire. I started unlocking stuff with that kit last night and I was actually killing people from very far away using the default assault gun. I was even able to take out a few snipers with very short controlled burst shots. Going full auto with it does seem to throw off the accuracy.

Tried burst fire/ full auto. The only I ain't do is swing the gun like a bat. What seems to work is the medic gun and 40mm grenade launchers. That is what people kill me with the vast majority of the time.

Being a glutton for punishment, I'll stick with assault. Hoping my KD goes into the positive after level 15 and the magnum ammo jump out. It's fun to never run out of ammo for your grenade launcher, lol

I must say I am liking this game more and more every day.

The default gun for the engineer and recon class are decidedly weak. I unlocked two others and while they are not powerful, they are getting the job done for now.

Interesting @ the burst fire and Coriolis effect. I'll investigate those.

I have a certain style of playing, I like to run and gun. It just takes a while to get accustomed to the transition from cod.

People say it not as fast paced? I MAKE it fast paced.

notodd, I use the latest version of mumble, it has a compatibility mode that allows me to connect to wc3edit server. best of both worlds.

Blu_Vice, don't get me wrong, it is a hardly an issue because the 40mmgl does such a wonderful job of one shotting enemies into oblivion. Why waste time with a pea shooter when you can swat a man off the map with a nade?

and to make it even sweeter, I just qualified for the perk that increases my ammo limit for that beautiful attachment. Going from two rocket propelled grenades to four. Party time!
