Why because it is true. This thread was inactive for however long. I loved the first game. As soon as IW screwed PC gamers boom the thread light up.

An opinion should be the result of thought, not a substitute for it.

Pc gamers were looking forward to modern warfare 2 as much as we were, they get shafted and they go to the alternative.
I don't see why chinarakinda in the wrong here lol.
And the comment was hilarious at the same time :P

Lol I can definitely see why it pissed people off if I were in their shoes. But watch it from a comic and realistic angle and it makes perfect sense :P

I understand completely where chinarakinda is coming from, but its only natural for
consumers to look elsewhere if what you're looking for in a particular product isn't there.

Battlefield games in general have their own subset of enthusiasts, who generally scoff at the COD games as
'not being realistic enough', but seeing as what has now happened to MW2, you will see some sort of exodus, as longtime COD enthusiasts attempt to become Battlefield ones.

I myself only became a real COD enthusiast with COD4's release.  I always found the Battlefield series to
be far more engaging as an online shooter, but the beauty of COD lay in its ease of use for LAN sweats.

There are few things I need  in life: oxygen, food, water, porn.....in that order.  :laughing7:
I do not need  Modern Warfare 2.  I may not even buy it, not even out of curiousity.
I will take my money and spend it on other things....like Battlefield: Bad Company 2 for example.

So, fine...IW is 'not overly concerned', well, neither am I.  I'll still be playing games, just not theirs.

Just as I have existed outside of the Halo foolishness (yeah, I said it), I will exist outside of Modern Warfare 2.

speaking for myself, i honestly was disappointed when bad company was not coming out on the pc, "almost" looked at getting a 360 just to play the thing. i'm honestly excited that bad company 2 is coming out for the pc.

her post is true, but it does have prejudice, comment made out of assumption.

Bought Bad Company for 360 when it first came out. I was not very impressed with the campaign and the multiplayer had real bugs. I will still give part 2 a shot, hoping it is a better experience. I love destructible environments, hope more games have this in the future. It really makes a game more immersive when you affect the environment in real time.

Now this one made me smile.  :)

http://kotaku.com/5396036/dedication-to-dedicated-servers-earns-ea-at-least-60-bucks

ROFL, judging from his handwriting, he's not too smart since he sent a check for $60 to DICE for what? Something they were going to provide anyways.....UHHHH, DUUUUHHHHH!!! IN this recession, $60 can be better spent on something else...HAHAHAHA that just made me LAUGH Arc...thanks!

I'm sorry, but either he is stuck to his PC and relies on it to write, or he has some sort of problem with simple script.....so sad..

Vids look interesting, they have time to add polish and make it look spectacular... alot of the 'new' features strike me as similar to COD4 and MW2.... that's just me. I do particularly like the destructable TERRAIN, that is a major point imho.

Yeah it just keeps getting better, destructible environments make so much sense. Looking at older games with static environments, it seems so unrealistic :p
