anyone see this flick yet? took it in yesterday and i must say,really really good movie,i swear by www.rottentomatoes.com and they gave it a almost perfect review,94%,which made me look @ it.If you didnt see it yet,go look at it!!!

Why is it when ppl put up posts about movies they don't give a brief overview of the movie and DIRECT LINKS to trailers or the movie site? GEEZ.... no actors, no director name... I walk in a thread to get an idea of what the movie is and I hadda google it? WTMC

Saw this a week or two ago...damn good movie.
The way they used the flashbacks to show how Jamal knew the answers...then cut back to present during the game and he just says the answer...that intense look of knowing on his face...it's just a bad@$$ piece of filmaking.

Glad it won big at the GG...it deserved every award.

Yeah it was a real decent movie, filmed in the slums of Mumbai.

It was based on the book "Q and A" if anyone wants to take a read........

Saw an interview of a mumbai resident about the movie on bbc yesterday. The movie is making it BIG all over. I just hope some of the money goes back to the ppl in those slums.

Real real real real real good movie imoh.

Not really a classic Indian movie, not really a chick flick. Caused a lot of protest in India for the portrayal of the country, but it is still a great movie!

A must see!!! (The girl real pretty too!)

^lol, I must say this is a must see/add to movie collection/watch when yuh board kinda movie.

It was alot better than I expected and truly showed what you can do with a little creativity. I would've liked to shake the director's hand for the kinda vision that went into making this movie. The acting was also better than many a million dollar movie star in hollywood.
