You know those lil postage stamp SD cards you see for like 20 US etc. on Amazon? Well expect them to hold alot more in a few years thanks to SDXC!

i was actually about to post, it could maybeeee  provide a sort of low footprint alternative for storage farms?

Could maybeeee see a company having a rack full of these little bastards on some custom devices.
would sure be alot easier to cool them and their read write speeds are probably gonna get epic in a few years... hmm

Alas this media doesn't hold up that well with many read/writes. Perhaps they will get better with time though who know. 2 Terabyte netbook storage anyone?
