well i got the game this morning, started playing this evening, and dude once i started, i couldn't stop. played from 4pm till 11pm straight( with small breaks in between yes). but this game takes the action of ww2 and ramps it up to level 10!! take all the boom bang kaboom action from cod4, multiply it by 5 and you will get an equivalent to the amount of action in World at War. From start to finish, beautiful graphics, wonderful cinematics, in game music and realistic sound. This game totally rocks. I'm a COD fan, and i doh care about those who are fed up of the ww2 theme, this game sick. Personal rating, 10 outta 10. Right about now i'm virtually high, my eyes feel like they don't want to close. This game is definitely worth the buy, the re playability is enough to justify the expense. but right now, the singleplayer rocks, i'm finished with it, and i want more.. totally a wicked game to have in your library.

How convenient it comes out on Veterans Day here in the US. I will be getting it, but with Gears of War 2, Far Cry 2 and Crysis Warhead, its TIME that I need....LOL

True, it may not grab you the way COD4 did, but play it some more, especially the MP. It will grow on you.

COD4 in itself was groundbreaking, so it would be very difficult for them to make the same kind of leap that they did from COD2 to COD4 with COD4 to COD5. It looks excellent, nonetheless and if the multiplayer is even 3/4 as good as COD4, i'll definitely be buying this next month.

Ah boy eh when you've been spoiled with something you can't see the good in things of old lol.

It is very wrong to compare this to COD4 simply put it's two completely different eras, yes it's WW2, we had nuff a dem games bla bla blabbidy bla but to dismiss this one you need to be shot lol.

I mean my mouth was open the whole time at the complete madness of WW2, yes cod4 had madness too but when Japanese play dead right infront of you and shoot up flares to blind you, Banzai rushing outta d blue when thing aint looking good for them, hiding in the flicking coconut treest to snipe you(wda) Maaann.

You sniping ppl and dey hand fly off!! THEY HAND FLY OFF LOL!!! No you don't have the 50 cal sniper rifle but the sniper rifles of old were big no @$$ in they own right and are alot more fun to use.

I dunno about you but the game BOSS!! and that is just the single player. The simple fact that there are so many weapons to use including the FLAME THROWER I mean cmon.

All the eye candy put aside if you are like me and always watched documentries on the history channel on wwI and II this game makes you live it better than any ww game before it!!!

This is a sure buy and as Phil said the replay value is worth it not to mention the multiplayer that has VEHICHLES which cod4 sadly lacks...not to mention MORE custom slots for outfitting you player with goodies of your choice.

lol, I dunno, just not feeling the WW2 era anymore. Been playing that scene since Medal of Honor. CoD4 was such fresh air to the COD franchise.

The dogs were cool though. Think I'll wait for a more battlefield-esque modern/futuristic theme before giving up my night rest again.
