WFC down in trinidad??
« on: October 23, 2008, 01:45:59 PM »
Can someone help me plz? I have wifi at home now and my wii and ds have been playing fine on the wfc. Now all of a sudden i get errow code 61020 on my ds and 61070 on the wii. All the chanells on the wii work fine but when i try to connect i get the error code.
Is anyone else having this problem? I trying it with mario cart. When i look it up they said it could be because the servers overloaded.
If you know of something that could help plz let me know asap :hello:

I can't offer any advice atm, but...

Mine is working fine.

Weather Channel still displays the current weather, same with the News Channel and the news.

I tried Mario Kart Wii, I was able to connect to WFC through the channel and the game itself, Super Smash Bros. Brawl also seems to be working. Pokemon(to all you haters: yes pokemon, stfu) Battle Revolution still had the random disconnections...normal thing as far as I know. It maybe your firewall blocking connections with WFC .-.

linksys isn't the king it used to be since the cisco buy out. Not sure exactly which direction to point you into but I'd suggest doing some research online.

I had placed  my wii in a DMZ on the linksys wrt54 wireless box @ home and I think that worked well enough. Got some issues with connecting with "random players" on Smash Brothers, but I think everyone got that. Friend Code matches were fine and Mario Kart worked like a champ with international players.

Kiya is it the Linksys WRT54G wireless router with the twin antennae at the back of it? and you have a blink modem?

I don't have a Wii but I'm guessing it has wireless connectivity on it from reading the thread.

Did you try what noob said about placing the Wii in the DMZ zone? or you have idea how to do that?

And finally google had nothing on those error codes you were getting??  that's strange...

After doing a little searching online someone said they did a system update for their Wii and mario kart worked fine for them after that..

Another usggestion was setting the channel to one as Nintendo suggest that for problems.

Ok I guess you really confused yourself and managed to confuse me(and others trying to help) in the process but I think you have the paradyne 6128-12-200 ADSL2 Wireless router from Blink and not the Linksys router.

Check your pm, sending messages in here doesn't seem to be going anywhere lol.

lol, I think you're a victim  of the famous "TSTT Firewall Re-enabling". Some users who got the new blink setups have found the TSTT side firewall mysteriously back in action.

Try asking them to make doubly sure that the firewall is turned off on their end.

i think the numbers are 62-blink or 824-TSTT... just call and tell them you want your firewall off, they would ask you for whatever is necessary. i think you  may need the id number of the person whose name is on the blink bill.
