strongly recommended to get a 850/1800/1900 band phone so is no issues using either network
TSTT uses 1800
Digicel uses 850 as its primary band and 1900 as it secondary. In my experience with a nokia 6233 (900/1800/1900), the digi 1900 band gets proper reception only in the major urban areas (POS /sando), if you even start to go rural, the signal degrades very quickly.
If you must get a 900/1800/1900 phone, stick to bmobile sims
Of course you should know a quadband phone renders all of the above as moot
