For the price, i'd have gone with something like this 1080p beauty, but, you know, whatever.

hmmm, i agree with captain awesome, 24" is a far cry from 22, i've got both in my room and d 24 is way better. Also u'd only need all those inputs if you have a console u wanna hook up to your pc really. If that's that case, then there arent many options at that pricepoint. ud have to pay about 600$ bones for a 24" with similar inputs.

This is going to be my next monitor. I juss waiting on d quote from HP, i mite get it from a local provider, since d thing big like shit.

And for my inputs, im looking at This. So Capt's suggestion combined with this device, would give you a bigger screen, greater resolution. and all the inputs you need. AT a little more doh.

That device also upscales lower res to higher. so in my case, my wii outputs 480p and will be upscaled to 1080.

I was torn between the HP and Dell monitor but in d end the HP clear through. Thoughts?

Let's review.

We have D-sub and DVI...nothing to see there

Svideo and component? I mean. Really?

Where's the HDMI?

Subwoofers in your monitor...ok...

Then on the other hand you have that 1080p Acer beauty , 2 inches bigger....which is noticeably bigger. If I didnt already have my mind set on this b!tch i'd buy that brisk brisk.

Of course, not everyone's priorities are the same so in that case..who am I kidding, i'd probably never buy that.

Well I did consider some other options, even that Hanns, BUT, I do have an  Xbox 360 which I would like to take off my 55" plasma so that my wife can watch her DVD's when she wants while I play some Gears of War 2 next month, my other option was to get the 30" Samsung or the HP that MH pointed out, but that limited the inputs as my Xbox 360 is the first gen with Component. I may upgrade to the 30" anyway later on if the 22" bores me...thanks for the input though.

*Also note the $100 rebate on the monitor, so I actually pay $250 insted of $350..

Red, if you going with 30" there's currently only 1 30" LCD Monitor witht he inputs you looking for, and thats the dell 3008wfp.

Its 2000$ , yea, steep price. Comes wiht 3000:1 apposed to the 1000:1 on the previous model.

But as i pointed out, that device that accepts your input it perfect, and not at a bad price either.

The HP 30" is the best 30" monitor out there at its pricepoint. Check out reviews.
And you guys who checking out other brands of monitor. take note of the panel they use. Not all monitors use the same panel. and specs alone dont make a monitor.
The panel decides juss how good the screen will look. and the HP / Dell 30" Using the best panels.

I buying d HP for sure. And i will buy that other device to get my component inputs. and the HP as 3 DVI conectors. so one to pc, one to that upscaling box. and the ohter to errr, whatever else }-}

I believe your score will go up with some OCing and by 'aquiring' a key so that you can run ALL the tests in the suite. I notice you only ran a few which is an indication that not ALL the tests were run. We go handle yuh.
