...improvements: it supports new power-saving technologies, offers more adequate and stable thermal sensors, overclocks better and is more economical.....also other Wolfdale processors with lower frequencies and prices will soon switch to new cores.

daiz just now, so yuh could have yuh cake and eat it too...the better thermal sensors and better O/C is auto-win imho

ofc it might mean a drop in the prices of the previous E8000s...

E8xxx series currently undergoing price drops already, so it is unlikely it'll drop more

I just pay US$175 for an E8400

Now im seriously considering if I should wait for this to come out or if I should go with a q6600. I want to make up my mind by weekend becauses dad hot to order the q6600.
