WTB: 'Computer' chair

My not-so-trusty computer desk chair is broken (again) and I'm fed up fixing it.
Where can I get a comfortable chair?

It must have wheels and armrests, adjustable height and backrest, oh
and the backrest should be head high.

In short, it should look like this:



I know I may have to spend upwards of 1K, but at this point, I'm fed up of
these 700-dollar chairs that just don't last.

Pricesmart hav sum comfy chairs...not sure how good they are tho

I bought mine in PriceMart a couple months ago...cost $900 or so. It's got steel legs and replaceable casters so that it can take my....more than average...weight. That model pictured is also at pricemart, but going for about $1200.

Bottom line...check pricemart...all of em.

We had checked PriceSmart after we checked Trader's Club...

and the selection at Trader's Club outright PWNED PriceSmart's selection..

It was a bit cheaper at Trader's Club too...

So yea..lol...

Well, I settled on this one from Pricesmart from 'Lane Home Furnishings':



Backrest isn't so high, but it'll do.  Its very comfy though.

how much did that one run you? Did you have to assemble that? Mine came 'knocked down' but after i was done with it...wow!! High backrest and all. Will post pics later.

It cost 999.99, which was LESS than what I paid for the last one just 7 months ago.
Already I can see this one is better by leaps and bounds, as all the 'load bearing'
parts are metal, which should better be able to support my 'more than average' (as Cap'n put it )
frame.

The adjustable armrests are a definite plus too.

I personally stay away from the wheels (cause the kiddies turn the chair into an amusement park ride).

Got an impressive unit for the price, $450 @ wizz many moons ago. So far so good. Real sturdy, been standing up to the "jamming" (if you catch my meaning)

It's not a futuristic or stately design but I think it's fit for purpose. See attached.

That looks like the chair I have at home, got it at Best Buy I think...VERY COMFY!!!

there's a place in marabella next to bel-air store called CMR. They deal in office supplies and have a very wide selection of chairs and other items. prices for computer chairs range from 250 and up. Check them out.
