wow indeed quite a tantilising trailer

happened to have had my kingdom come comic on my desk

went and dig up and pulled out my watchmen

awesome stuff
cant wait to see on teh screen.

i wish dc would take a hint from marvel
if they can do spiderman, iron man, hulk, fantastic four, and xmen
arguably their biggest titles

DC can start doign more than supes and bats.

admittedly the scope of the league would be far too large

but damnit i would kill to see kingdom come done well
that and infinite crysis

 Looks utterly amazing , something i'd actually go in theatres to see. Every major scene from the comic should be intact , making for an excellent movie , no doubt it will be one of the best for 2009.

A huge budgeted superhero movie that delivers intellectually? That takes serious, ballsy chances with the form? That isn't giving audience what they expect, and is possibly not giving them what they want? Why, that sounds like a piece of art. A glorious, epic, exciting, mind blowing piece of art

  will Dark Knight be usurped as best comic book movie? or can these movies even be compared?

dark knight was full of epic winnage from an actor's performance

Watchmen kicks average storylines in the balls and laffs while running away.
even dark knight's storyline takes one in the stones

Most people who never read up on the series before may be watching the trailer and thinking about that same character's resemblance to Batman.

i can't wait to hear people's reaction when they learn about Manhattan and Rosharch's origins.... march 11 it is!!!!
