To say that the movie has glaring plot holes and inconsistencies is putting it mildly,
but that's not what we went to see it for. We wanted to see big, hulking robots
kick the snot out of each other on a grander scale.

Jon Favreau's a great choice.

I would say Spielberg, but he's already making like 3 movies right now.

Other Possibilities:
JJ Abrams
Peter Jackson (wishful thinking here =] )
James Cameron (lol, not gonna happen)
Bryan Singer??

Well there's a lot to choose from, hopefully they get someone good. I wouldn't mind a series reboot either.

Has anyone played the game. Its actually pretty good. There's WAY more Transformers in the game than the movie,
and the gameplay is pretty robust. You can even choose sides. Each one has their own unique weapons and abilities.

Try it. You just might like it.

i beat it on autobots (pc version) game is pretty much a one trick pony imo

looks pretty but, campaign is really short and very kiddy friendly, i uninstalled right after i beat it....

So I just came back from seeing the movie and I must say this..................

I am thankful for the IMAX experience!! HOLY CRAP! This movie was full of EPIC WIN! IMAX just makes it that much better...WOW!

Went to see it in CC8 sat.
Walked out of the movie when they were in the desert scene.
Both the movie and CC8 sucked major balls... and those balls weren't mine.

And as for that lulz review, it was SPOT ON!
The freakin movie lacked EVERYTHING besides explosions (which looked like 4th of july fireworks btw... did i see the July 4th special edition on sat?)
sad times for entertainment in the least.

And imagine, so much ppl say watchmen was crap. Maybe ppl want their movies as dumb as they were when they were 4 years young!
