Yep, you read right.  Robert Kelly, accused of peeing on/having sex with an underage girl (at the time)
was acquitted on all 14 counts of child pornography.

This brings to mind a particular episode of Boondocks, in season 1:

Huey Freeman: What the hell is wrong with you people? Every famous ***** that gets arrested is not Nelson Mandela! Yes, the government conspires to put a lot of innocent black men in jail on fallacious charges. But R. Kelly is *not* one of those men! We all *know* the ***** can sing, but what happened to standards? What happened to bare minimums? Are you a fan of R. Kelly? You wanna help R. Kelly? Get some counseling for R. Kelly!   People need to learn to sue celebrities the right way... Do like Monica Lewinsky did to Bill Clinton , save something with their semen on it , and present it as evidence .

 He likely did commit some crimes , but it got blown out of proportion by usual greed .

^^^ Yeah...lol.  Aaron McGruder is a prophet.  The scene outside the courtroom today was almost a mirror image
of that Boondocks episode.
