Wanton died and Bloodbath was paralyzed for life.

Something that a couple of the older gatt heads might remember, I know crixx will definitely remember this.

That day was so surreal.

I remember being awoken at about 5:30am by larry and being told that he had died. I couldn't believe it at all, my dad called the hospital to confirm. My mom and grandmom took it hard, as mark was like their second son. I remember being told how SNS was basically in mourning that whole day.

I was really pissed that I had to find out while watching the news like everyone else.

I still regret not being around, as his mom said that every time he became conscious he'd scream out my name frantically.  I also remember reaching to the hospital and bob's first words from that bed being "mark gone dred..."

The show of love from gatt then was really something that will stand out in my mind.

Indeed, there were so many people there that couldn't believe that he had gone...from the time I heard that I just started calling people to try to find out what exactly happened...only for my mom to tell ask me why I running up the bill, in her words, "de boy dead, life still goes on, focus on the living and your own concerns..." IF there was a time when I wanted to severely cuss my mom, it was then.

So where is Yuri now? It's been ages since I've heard of his status, other than in the initial post.

Yuri is in the same condition as before, I can't comment on any progress as I haven't seen him in about a year. I'll talk to his sister and see what I can find out.

Oh, man. I don't like talking about this day.
Not just because of what happened, but also, because this day happens to coincide with something else.

The day wanton died....was the day I joined GATT.


Imagine how it feels to introduce yourself to the GATT crew, and, at the same time, have to offer your condolences. I felt so bad.

I may not have known him, but my condolences are still offered, all the same.
Rest in Peace.

Yeah, that was a very sad time. Can't believe 5 years passed already.
Such a loss really puts things in perspective. Life will never be the same without these fallen soldiers.

heard about that poor girl this morning, its always heart breaking to hear bout girls in that kinda situation . Her brother gonna be in alot of grief thinking he couldnt protect her, prays go out to him as well.

Also, yall heard of the boy that committed suicide cause he didnt wanna have to redo communications studies exam cause of them cancelling cape thingy... that real hard.



What ill always remember was after mark died, and yuri was in the hospital, maybe it was a week after or something.

His msn logged on, and iam sure his poor sister was immediately inundated by his friends going omg your ok???

Hmm...I almost forgot, but yesterday also made it 2 years since one of my friends went missing and haven't seen him since, and he was a real dedicated gamer as well, was more in TG in times before his disappearance, but used to be around some good years back...and his little brother is part of our gaming squad in Grande as well.

MY prayers going out to Adam aka Nemasis, hope that somehow things are worked out for his family, so that some kind of closure can be brought.

Yeah...I read about that this morning. I'll be blunt here.....committing suicide? That's just weak, man. I really don't care what the circumstances were, either....unless he was dying from some extremely painful, incurable disease that made it torture to do as much as blink, suicide should never be in one's vocabulary.

Just spoke to chris concerning Yuri's condition. She said that his mental state has depreciated and he is having a lot of "conversations with people" in the room along with other things I won't mention. It's just an all round sad state of affairs. Things look bleak thats all I'll say, though he's not dying.

I know this post is late, but I do remember this day as well, just a few months after this event (exactly 4 months and 15 days) my mother passed away as well. These events seem like yesterday, I can't believe it has been five years. R.I.P to Wanton and I wish all the best to Bloodbath. :-(
