Maps in DOW will be, Blood River, Emeral River, and a next one i cant remmber d name.

Those are nice competitive 1v1 maps.

so GOW sweat tonight or wha fellas? i there as long as i home. as for COD 4, i would gladly start from lvl 1 and run any challenge. no amount of perks/add-ons could compensate for speed and accuracy...

Soulstorm didnt really add new maps, bloodrive is whats used in competitive play.
and if u are familiar with d map, which means u should be familiar with d game, and not much has changed over the years
save new races. so u should be ready to swet me as soon as posible

I won't get involved in the back and forth this thread has degenerated into.

While I won't go as far as saying UT3 is 'inferior', I can certainly understand where the good Captain is coming from.
I'm not exactly in a hurry to play it either. Its just not my style.

If that makes me a 'lamer' as Mr. Hypolite continues to trumpet, then so be it.

...and if people are going to engage in 'ole talk'...at least do so with proper spelling, and grammar.
If I have to read these posts, I'd rather not get a headache while doing so.

Also, I concur with the 'family' thing. Lets keep it civil folks...and certain members need to remember their place.

after seeing captain's and arcman's post, I think they're right. The talk is going in a less than friendly direction. People have been banned for lesser offenses.

Arc said it best with this quote: "It's nice to be number 1, but it's better to be nice"

Since picong and ole talk brought us to this uncomfortable place, let's cease and desist anything that can be remotely classified as such and go about being "nice" instead.

Clean up on aisle 5.

Sweatology minus the drama. Anything in the least way personal / offensive will be pruned.

it usually better to throw de ole talk in game
and either give or take yuh lihxxx

what would help make cod a 1 v1 oriented game is if it had the random map generator like in sof 2

that was great for mixing things up and generating scalable maps

yeah, shipment is the only practical map for a 1v1 in CoD4, no doubt.

Agreed @ this ain't the place for the talk.

Some peeps taking it too far. Also, I got a hint of an "us vs them" flavour while pruning the offending posts.

There shouldn't be any such division. We are all GATT members here. Leave the we vs dem mentality at the door. Togetherness iwmc.

The nice thing about the CoD4 sweatage thus far, we've played each other or international peeps and never had a row. Everybody got their asses handed to them by El Capitan and we honored him for his skill. Not hated on him or counter challenged or anything that could remotely resemble what this thread turned into. You know why?? Because he was one of us. A fellow member. Not the enemy.

Likewise, Messiah. You are new here. I know your bro and he was one of the greatest gamers in the Q3 era and we never had any contention like this. We should be glad to have you join us and kick ass "along side" us. Whether in CoD4, Gow, Dow, etc....

Not in a "we vs dem" mentality, but as one. I hope you feel the same and drop the anti CoD4 sentiment just as we are giving the other games some of our precious sweat time.

Let us carry on in a less disruptive manner

PS....I am looking out for that Soul Storm.

yea crixxx.. that would be nice to have in truth, if i had some proper spare parts around, i woulda link up a dedicated server if i had a better connection oui... just for small sweats tho..

so far, we have gears of war, unreal tournament, and dow... we need another set of games to add to the list and test.. if u willing to test a game, msg me in xfire, i know reaper done want to run gow co-op mode.. i have quake 4 and company of heroes here to test, if u have either, msg me

Oh and redfish as for the Gears, into act 5 now and still no crashing. Hope that helps.

lol, I know the frustration. That same GoW used to crash galore on my old rig, but that was before the 1.1 patch, vc update and live update. You did those already and tried the battery nocd?

Yes i patched up the game and the live thing I updates to the latest. I now running a 8600 GTS as opposed to a 8400 GS but still the same crap.

What battery nocd are you talkin about??

Yours original or acquired? If it's acquired, are you mounting an image to play it or using a nocd/,nodvd executable?

The battery nocd is a startup.exe file to avoid having to mount an iso or use the original dvd in your rom drive. Good if you're likely to lose the disks or have kids that mistake dvds for frisbees.

mine is an acquired one and I'm using a nodvd(startup.exe) to play it. I'm wondering if to try playing it directly from the mounted iso and see because when I start the game from the mounted ISO I don't see my saved games...

i FED UP use the term "acquire" in this thread. is like we in court or sum...lol
