Well boy, hear what happen last night.
D machine leak testing, so i say i go leave it overnight, and test for leaks in the morning.
So i went and take ah eat etc, getting ready for bed. I decided to gone take a look at the machine before i sleep.
Time i gone back outside, d floor wet. So i start wondering if rain fall and how d hell it reach in d garage.
I check, no rain. Then i start sensin something weird, i take ah peak at the front of d machine, and noticed d resevoiur completely empty.
I raff d plugs from d pump quickly. I bawl out "SHIT!" hard hard, wife come runnign to see what happen.
Time i start to inspect d rig to see where d hell that water come from, i see d hose leading out of d chiller 1 way, d hose clamp another way.
I call isme2003 one time, cuase when bleeding is he attached that particular hose. He say d hose was secure and that clamp was secure.
Whiles on d phone trying to figure out what d hell happened, a drop of water fell onto the chiller.
Time i look up, a big circle of coolant on d ROOF!

Those chillers make to take 1.5" / 2" hose, but it came with a reducer kit to bring it down to 1/2"
What i could deduce, d pressure build up so much in d loop, and in d chiller itself. and concentrated right by d reduction point.
And pitch d hose, d clamp and all d coolant bout 10 feet in d air oui.

Hear nah, i still speechless.
I just thank God that d coolant didnt get on/in d pc, otherwise id still be crying all now!
Amazing.

So tonight is Bleeding / Leak Test Part 2! with a Side of "Pressure Protection!"

I going to try a screw-in clamp instead to see if that wok better, or an elbow at the Output of d chiller to alliviate the upward pressure.
Or a combination of both!

.....Day 6!

...which is why I elected to use ghetto-ass screw-in hose clamps in my setup.  Them bitches not coming out unless you unscrew em yourself.  Any high pressure will buss the tubing itself before them clamps let go.
Them 'compression-fittings' I realize is starboy ting.  They not coming nowhere near my loop.

^^ the fittings he used that let go arent compression fittings.

compression fittings use the SAME principle as your screw clamps... take it from someone who watercooled numerous PCs without and leaks or problems

Compression Fittings work bess. When you use that that hose eh going anywhere. But compression fittings to fit 1/2" hose is big and nasty and cause problems in tight fits.

D clamp that let go is this piece of shit:

I've used like these countless times. But every time is in spots that have exact fit, and resistance provided on d other end to keep everything in place. In this case it juss din wok.

i now come from d hardware with some packs of these bad boys:

Good ole gunta screw-ins, which i use in d past as well.

I going and eat then commence testing again. So go see if them screw-ins do d trick. But like arc said, d hose should buss before that let go.

..O and chiney, i'm sure arcman has watercooled his share of PCs as well, lol.

Not disputing that for a moment.

Good ol 'gunta' clamps work 'bess' for me too.   Anything goes wrong, is $2 each.
No need to wait on an internet order either.

ROFL, boy i din take no pics, in ah time like that, man eh studying pics! lol.

And well there is more to this story!

I setting up meh hose clamps this evening. So i putting on d hose back on d chiller.
So i see meh son dey playing in scrap parts/hose. (He is 6), so i call him to hold d hose in place whiles i tighten d fittin. He said, "i slacken that last night"
I was like, wait, what? He repeat heself. I said, "what you slacken?" He point at the chiller, at both d input and output leads. I said "how u slacken that?" He walk away, walk back with my work screwdriver, and proceeded to pry d fittin off.

Again....speechless!

So it seems sometime last night when i wasnt looking, he slacken d thing, and pressure did d rest. JAH!

So i explain him one time, dont go around my gear when ah not there, and ask before he touch anything. (I does let him be around when we working and thing).

Then i give him some spare hose, fittings, elbos, and tell him build that lolol.
He den found a tube of termal paste in d box! But good thing he got d msg clear, and ask me "daddy this dangerous" before he open it.

He say he want to build robots when he grow up, and he start on my PC! lololol.

So far d rig seem stable, i have an alarm to go outside and check it every half hr. Ill give it another hr then i mite decide to slap in d PSU yes.
