i've found the skullptura version to have extremely slow DL speeds, i managed to get the 6.4GB version quicker than it, and the skull version was started hours after :S

Man I played this ting tonight and BOY OH BOY!!!!

Talk about beauty. I put in my name in the profile but then I hear the game tell me welcome Kyle I was like WTMC!!!

Then while I racin the man say Kyle your radiator is leaking fluid!! again WTMC DREAD!!

D GAME BAAAAD!! if you didn't like racing games you'll like this one even if it's just to stare at the graphics cause it's done so well.

Yeah...just finished a 2-hour sweatage of this game.

I am absolutely.....speechless.

The game actually saying your name...absolute GENIUS!!! (Yes, my name IS in the list)
That alone is worth manyyyyy cool points.

What can I say about the graphics that has not already been said. This game is a perfect example
of a game engine done right. Not a misplaced texture or polygon anywhere...and the SMOKE EFFECTS!!! WOW!!!
I am at pains to think of a game with better smoke effects, and the Xbox360 controller for Windows makes
playing this game an absolute dream. Oh, and did I say it works flawlessly on Vista?

Man oh man...I think DiRT has officially been PWNT-ed...

I just wished you could save your replays....Is it just me alone or is xfire not recognizing this yet?

Would make good use of the ingame record feature it has to put up some videos of replays.

Man playing this with the keyboard really got me at first but I actually got enough cash to start my career. We hadda do a online sweat sometime man, this game is just too sweet!!

I have a big problem with this game how grass and dirt literally bring you to a complete stop instantly while driving @ 300km/hour. As Dr Hibbert would say...that aint right!

well the game, as realistic as it is, is still arcade racing. Meaning that it's not fully a sim game. there's a setting that would enable you to turn off all the driving assistance, like cornering, traction control all that ish. Now to the part with the grass and dirt. The tires on the cars we have are meant for asphalt, meaning they only have proper traction on asphalt, any other surface is a no no. The immediate stop won't be fully realistic due to the little help that the game gives u to control your car, turn those off and you'll see a big difference, not to say you can drive on grass and dirt now, but you'll see how the car would truly react to the different surface. This thing aint need for speed, surface matters, so stay on d asphalt meng.

well after countless frustration spinouts with like 1 wheel touching the grass/dirt, im kinna forced to stay off arent I. I can work around it most times, but in the case of the 24hr races....

...i find that the TVR SPorts Cars give the worst grass handling, they just start to rotate the second you hit grass yes!

lol @ dirt. What a culture shock yes. Dirt punished grass driving with automatic reset behind the other racers.

I find that coming off the x reduces the "spin" you experience while driving on grass for short periods.
