Any older games that are dear to your heart and you still play? Any you'd recommend ?

My list : Warcraft 3 , possibly the best RTS ever .
Final Fantasy 6 & 7
Chrono Trigger , Sieken Densetsu 3
Neverwinter Nights
Star Wars : KOTOR
Call of Duty 1
Medal of honor
Quake 3
Half Life

it can be any platform , PC or console , preferably stuff made post SNES era.. i don't want to see anything about pacman here .

want ideas for an article i'm writing so feel free to recommend stuff

Tales of Phantasia on the SNES. One of the most captivating RPGs I've ever played and the soundtrack is awesome.

Best played in the dark, at night, for maximum effect.

flashback on sega genesis..classic

xmen on the sega genesis one of the hardest games ever made...

prince of persia sands of time

final fantasy 7...and 9 on the ps

the first spiderman on the ps

resident evil 2 and dino crisis ..fun scare and gore in one package...

soul reaver legacy of kain...talk about awesometastic boss battles...

kotr and to a lesser extent kotr 2 (not that old tho)

the longest journey

clive barker's undying...now that ish is the scariest game ever made...

damn there are sooo many but these are at the top of my head

I could agree with Arcamn for AVP2 dred. Especially when you play the Marine....lawd!!
One mission where you have to survive wave after wave of aliens for 15 mins...omg crazy mad!!

When you play as the Pred and ALiens it was just insane!
The pred had the 3 forms of scanning, for human, alien and other preds and the ALiens had a hunting mode...and dred when them bitches running on walls and thing..is the ultimate in motion sickness....crazy

/agree with some of these games shouldnt be old school....but old school is a term that could be used for any age/standard

So if you began on PS1...then i guess its old school for you

For me I still find Sonic is a "new" character...man only come out when SNES was out, that was just the other day. Hoss i remember when DANSTEEL used to sell NES games LOL and i used to rent ATARI games from Off the Wall.

Jewishmonk boy.......i didnt know you were such an emotional fella!!

FF8 I thought was one of the more overlooked FF games. I was really impressed with it. The first time you actually would call padnas over to just see the OPENING video.

THese concerts are VERY rare by SquareEnix.....but amazing
