This is the greatest game for the year 2003

If you play one game before you die, let it be this.

(goes in search to find some good pics)

This game? Why this game? Isnt the fighting engine a bit slow? I mean yea its good graphically and all and he does what he does with style. Although the gameplay shpld have been faster

this game looks very interesting
one that you spend hours trying to beat
it somewhat reminds me of aladin

love how he runs on the walls and stuff

Running on walls has never been so cool :)

I've said it before and I'll say it again...
Even The Matrix didn't capture running on walls like this...Neo eh ready for d Prince :P

He is jes a baddest!

And the Splinter Cell engine is looking oh so fine 8)

As for the gameplay...it's so simple and smooth...dunno what you mean by it being slow...?

Simply a fantastic game.

Simple and smooth yes....but somehow i have grown to like faster gameplay. If it were faster it would have been unstoppable in its genre

I'll be getting it for XBox soon.Looks great.
Glad to hear it isn't as GOD AWFULLY hard as the original Prince of Persia. If there's one game that can cause high blood pressure that was it.

However, the best game of this year is Knight of the Old Republic. For your own safety I hope you remember that from now on.

Want to see some screeners, go here, or look out on mtv, there is this 5 minute add for it, with some dance dj mixing up a track for the ad. oh and check the previews board for what i thought of it.
I am not sure if its mtv alone, but I've sen it there.

P.S.
About 20 years ago, the previous version ran away with all the awards, and all the raves from all the critics, have you ever seen it? It was spectacular, any way, I suspect, or rather expect, that it would do the same 20 years later.

I didn't know the original was THAT old.I must have played it around 12-13 years ago.I HATED it.That game was HARD.Good god talk about unforgiving.
But this is years later.PoP won't be taking home the big award, that's for either Zelda or KOTOR.

i sense the re-emergence of a dark presence in the force....

Finally a man with taste...

PERSIA is wicked but it is lookin a bit too easy, i just started it an im almost halfway through...
knights of the old republic is my contender for game of the year, this would keep me going for quite some time.. 8)

All infidels will die.

Prince of Persia IS the Game of the Year 2003.

It ownz j00. Completely.

Storytelling at it's finest.

Oh yes, the original prince of persia was hard...but therein lay it's charm. How else to milk so many hours of gameplay out of one floppy disk?

The game itself had a 1 hour time limit for completion but you would easily take a week to beat it just from the shear number of times you'd die and do bits of it over and over. Yes, that is now considered an act of frustration but back then, it was brilliant! Longevity of a great gaming experience iymc!

Longevity was pretty much the only thing games had going back then.
Longevity from all the times you'd replay the same thing.
Ah,the good ole days.

But check yuhself Baego,KOTOR rulin dis year.
I find your lack of faith disturbing.

Loved the originals, it looks like it its worth a shout, i'm got to play it first though.

There are two ills needed for success, skill and will. Which one do you value more?
