I really did like Via... they have such great ideas, their chipsets are VERY decent low-mid range and they are EXCELLENT on POWER!!! ah well at least they still making AMD chipsets.

No more Intel chipsets

IT SEEMS THAT Via is going to let its chipset division die off and be folded into the CPU division.
According to Digitimes, from now on, the only chipsets that Via makes will be for its internal CPUs and AMD's.
This isn't much of a shock to onlookers, the marketshare of Via for Intel has been dropping, and with upcoming licence problems and the impending death of the entire chipset category, there isn't much left for it to do.
Still, it is not a good thing for the entire industry. µ
