I don't agree with the heading seeing as unless you're a microprocessor engineer who works on complex chips, yuh doh really have a clue what goes into making them and how a problem like this could have been missed in the lead up to production. Whilst in the past intel has been lambasted for their share of crap its a bit unnecessary.
That aside, I read other related articles prior and was QUITE disappointed to say the least with the performance loss with the microcode update. Just remember that without a healthy AMD, Intel will return to a price whoring consumer unfriendly behemoth.
