Tstt probably don't have enough bandwidth to service their current market

wrong
they have more than enuff bw for all their residential and corporate clients
but as always its more profitable for them to give the customer a crappy deal
so that they can lease more and more bw to corporates for ridiculous prices

Well I FINALLY get blink this evening.... 1MBps due to budget..

no changing of modem (speedstream 5200 for last 3 years)

net was down and it took a call to TSTT India (still can't believe TSTT outsourcing to India, maybe they will do a better job than our own local helpdesk EVER did) to get it back up

Is only when i updated the antivirus on a laptop i was fixing did I notice the dl rates.. 112KB/s

   :yay:
God is dead.

yeah the indian dude is very helpful, but if you ever get the lady man hangup she is really ignorant and always short with you, sometimes i feel really small and angry after talking with her.

Hmm I will investigate... I know my modem is ready and waiting... its always been strange to me that my modem (paradyne) says connection rate 1024 down... 64k up... I can believe its 64 up cause I never upload at higher than 6 which is CRAP!!! that aside 1Mbps down and GOD willing at LEAST 256kbps here I come!
