160GB hard drive (not that tech savvy will sata work on a p4 motherboard)
1 gig ram (low cost ram compatible with a p4 motherboard)
new tower (black pref but not that picky)

or

PC with p4 processor at least 3.0 not really a fan of multi core
1 gig ram
160 GB hdd

Can you identify the motherboard you have?
Using CPU-Z or everest or hwinfo. those programs should identify board.

That aside I do have a 160GB for sale.
 Brand new. Only tested to ensure it is working. SATA2, One year warranty. $400

and for not caring for  multi core, i tried a core duo system and really didnt notice much difference, prolly becuase i just use word and play old games like aoe2 and unreal GOTY edition and warcraft 3 and yes i admit i still playin sof2 (the shame, man crix and rabid panda and jhonny and waggy even baego used to kill that game in the old SnS) and normal old p4 3ghz seems to run those apps better,
