There were no character tweeks, the update strictly dealt with championship mode. Why would capcom want to make Sagat better? He's a beast already!

Some street fighter IV updates.

Official release date set for the PC version and also, a released benchmark for the game, to test if your PC is worthy of capcom's fighting behemoth. Ran the test and got an A. Lihixxxxxxxxxx idmc

You also get to play with three different visual effects. Ink, Watercolor and Posterization. Not very impressed but a nice inclusion all the same. Bring on the candy.

The game will be available on steam. They identify july as the release month as well.

Also, the recommended specs have been revealed.

ran the benchmark this morning... i'm impressed, my lil 6000+ aint doing bad at all... well i guess my gpu helped alot huh...lolz

1st run:

those scores seem low for a rig of that power compared to mine.

At 1280x1024 with model and background on high I got over 9000 with an average frame of 57.

I got an old Athlon x2 4200, 2GB DRR2 and a Geforce 8800 GTs. I had shadows on low so maybe if u had yours on high that might explain it.

Also I'm using XP.

^^^ yea dude, i said i MAXEDDDD out the second run, meaning everything to the highest, with AA and AF maxed. u not seeing the framerate? 73fps avg... not sure how they judge the score though...

CAPCOM are the masters of optimizing console games for PC's. Can't wait to see how RE5 and Lost Planet 2 will run.

I mean, its only a fighting game, but let me throw some more kudos Capcom's way.

got 60 fps @ 1920 x 1200 res with everything on high got a grade A

then i saw soft shadows and but it on HIGHEST..

got a dip to 40 fps...still ran like butter...got a grade B though
