I was playing with my Dual Shock 3 last night.
I'm 'slightly' better with my Dual Shock 2.

Nuff props to you though. I didn't think some of the skillz I saw was control pad l33tness.

rose lil tricky but practice makes perfect. As for playing ryu, the only other character I had unlocked was sakura. Ain't really start mucking about with other players yet. Gonna unlock everyone today (home sick) and once ryu in rippin' form, I'll start trying other fighters.

jah i dunno what going on right now nah..normally when i host games n stuff online ppl does have like 1-2 bars if they from foreign and it does be fine..this afternoon i getting 0 bars right through oui..and the game kinda choppy

2 bars and up are fine.

Anyway to play local players in ranked matches? Looks like it is a random affair at the moment. If there was a regional lobby, that would be sweet.

i doh think you could play ranked games against ppl of your choice..that would be cheating the system so to speak..but sometimes i does see myself playingthe same person for a few games back to back..but i guess they does try to match ppl around the same BP if possible

and yea sometimes for me does be real sours..i have 5802 BP right now..and sometimes i go play and play men with 0 bp :/ get a 1 point..but at the end of the day is not like BP mean anything..cause yuh cant do anything with it..and on top of that people does pull plug when they gonna lose so they eh go lose bp..lord alone knows why

lol @ zangief too cheap. I see a man refer to the game as Ken Fighter IV yes. Saying Ken overpowered.

I think Sagat is the man I fear the most. Referred to as Top Tier most everywhere online. Fortunately not many people whoring him on ranked matches. Played against more Kens than anything else.

They should have a setting in the ranked matches screen that will filter players by the number of bars.

Take a lil warm up in arcade mode and only be presented with challenges from players with 2 bars and up. That would be sweet.

Nice that you can use the "players more skilled" filter. Points for capcom there.

Still, all the niggling aside. Street Fighter IV online is like finding the Holy Grail for me yes. The dream of the internet has been completely realized. Bridging the gap between all gamers and all genres. Fighters were out in the cold for too long. No more. Welcome to the internet sweat generation.

Now for Tekken 6 to be released.

The system for "more skilled" players is flawed to an extent though, it only determines this by BP and alot of these guys are pretty weak even though their BP is high.

Last night I got a reasonable connection and played against like 7 Seths....it was annoying to say the least, but raging demon takes off like 80% of his lifebar so it wasn't that bad.

PC version is supposedly coming with the Games for Windows Online which will allow PC players to play 360 players.

Gears of War PC couldn't play with Gears of War 360. How such an obvious synergy is missed is besides me.

No biggie, as SF4 seems hugely popular on the PS3 network. Always got games going on. Just that I wish there was some sort of lobby for regional players so we could avoid laggy foreigners.

its strange how you get laggy foreigners, as I am in NY and play on Live against Agokillya in Trinidad with Blink, Shivadee in San Diego, Jarrox and Seraph in Trinidad, and we have 3 bars...what going on there n00b? The game runs great...

The game runs great with 2 bars and up red. So three bars will be peachy.

I only get show stopping lag with 1 bar men. They are probably on dial up in iraq or russia or something and mad torrenting nrop in the background. lol
