Yup. rb told me that we should be expecting a Tropical Depression soon. Given the weather that's been happening as of late, I'd say that it's looking to be pretty bad, too....

Well it's 4:50am as of this post, and the Tropical Depression is well upon us.
All the close proximity lightning and lightning and thunder wake me up, just in time to notice the front porch flood and by extension my living room.... just had to hastily unclog the drain hole on my front porch and then sweep water out my living room.
My doggie find a sleeping spot in my bedroom after my mom run him off her bed.
I guess I won't be seeing ANY customers today.... but looking at the 5am staellite image on links in first post it seems the storm should fully pass by this afternoon...

Funny....other than looking a bit overcast, not much is really happening here. If anything changes, I'll move Maverick inside and camp out under my bed with a stack of comic books, a flashlight and a bag of na-chos.

Well the most we might get today would be some heavy rain from the tail of the system, but up by me, there was only a bit of rain, nothing worth talking about...

Lucky you guys... anytime a storm passes this close, Diego seems to always get the worst of it... Rain fell so hard it was blinding....
when Ivan had pass back in 2004, I was working in south that day; whole day it was just overcast. even went and lime by a friend or two when time to go home... all was still fine till I hit Cocorite: instant blinding rain. Nearly missed my turn off. Even with high beam i had to drive at 20Kmph to reach home Could not see past bonnet. Side and rear view mirrors of car I was driving were rendered useless.
Tropical Depression 6 has been upgraded to Tropical Storm Felix.
Most of the associated bad weather effect should wear off by this evening

well i was up at 4 this morning doing more hacks to my psp
trying to get loco roco and prince of persia to work whilst talking to baego online
when i start to feel something cold by my foot
look down and notice my room have about 6 inches of water in it
thank goodness my ups was on a little box about 9 inches off the flow
i insta shut off my pc
then spend the next 4 hours trying to clean up the house
house dry now, pc working
i didnt get fried
took pics of the contraption i set up to stop the gutter from over flowing right onto our door and flooding the house.

seems this model of lexmark is renowned for psp issues
stick with sandisk is the word
even though these lexmark are like 40 dollars cheaper than the sandisk
there apparently is a reason for that
they work great for media
but for psp games
nah
