TOP PHONE FIRM Nokia said it will begin using Microsoft's dastardly DRM on its phones soon, for stuff like music and videos.

The firm announced a deal to use Microsoft's PlayReady digital in its own S60 software, which runs on its as well as other firms' phones.

Nokia reckons it will make more money on content, as the margin it makes on handsets contines to shrink. Voleware will help it here, it thinks.

However, folk will find their way around Microsoft's DRM and no-one's that interested on watching TV on their mobiles anyhow.

Nokia expects to deliver the infected phones next year. µ
