the top rigs need to be updated.. can any mod fix this please.. two members i have noticed got new scores and looks like the ranking will change.

Right...updated to reflect changes in Jedi's score, and berzerker's whiz-bang entry into the top 10, and
the subsequent changes in the rankings.

EDIT: ALMOST forgot to include NGW's substantial jump to 7th place. Fixed.

Did I forget anyone else?

Interesting how the top 10 is now completely dominated by 8800s.
Nvidia must be doing something right.

noob, i see u got the same 8800GT i got. u checked for samsung mem chips?

the mem should clock higher than the 8800GT's with qimonda ram....

nope, haven't checked the chips. Everything in my machine is running @ stock.

On a side note, apart from the increase in 3dmark 2006, there was a noticeable performance increase in CoD4 when encountering smoke. At first I thought it was a programmed slow down by the game to simulate the effect on the human senses (as is the case with the stun grenade) but since moving from the 8800 GTS to the 8800 GT, I don't get that slow down anymore.

think he already stated that he can't go higher than his current o/c..

i have an aim, for i have seen it done.. when my cooler reaches, i'll try something insane.. will be hard to reach 10k though, still believe with a cpu oc of my 4400+ i may not reach 10k in 3d mark, but who cares if i don't.

now wait a cotton picking minute son!!!!! after hours last night tryin to figure out how a 939 system owning my n00b attempts at benching and overclocking, i now mc realize W1ntry 3dmark was ran at 1280 x 768, which should put significantly less stress on the gpu while benching right?!?!? i mean, if we are doing this ranking, and we are using 3dmark as the primary benchmark, we should set a gatt standard, where as all members must abide. now with that said.. my quest for system stability and crossing 9500 marks is still in gear.. until the "time" comes... when something "new" is "acquired"

i don't think w1n have a choice his monitor prob cant go to 1280X1024.

the default for 3dmark is 1280x1024 but if the monitor can't handle it or drivers for the monitor are present it adapts (i noticed this with my dad's syncmaster)

as for the gatt standard it's the default on the 3dmark06 basic that you see on most our screenies...

and btw, lol, w1n was the man who came up with alot of benching protocols for us

yea.. i know the default res.. and i know he came up with the benching protocol.. i read the forums meng.. i just ranting at d fact that i was stressing because i though i was doing something wrong why i can't go past win's score.. then i just watched his screencap and checked the resolution.. i coulda dead.. i was just b17ching.. lol
