Hahaha you noob which is it 320mb or 640 8800gts? It cant be both.

But that's a score at stock speed. A lil overclock of the cpu and the card would easily push you over the magical 10k mark.

Edited for clarity. Its the 320mb card. Copied the info direct from 3DMarks Result page. They had it so listed (320/640)

Ditto for the ram.

lol @ scaredy cat with the OC. COD4 running like butter, though I thought it would look a little grittier like Gears of War with all eye candy on. Say wha....suhuweat!!!!

Patched to 1.05 last night and copper shotted some noobs this morning. Time to Xfire it up again.

Doh worry Crixx, when a game starts to frame, I'll consider OC. (Avoids Crisis, lol)

A minor issues of sorts i have observed since W1nTry posted his updated thread.

i would like to advise that the default resolutions for 3DMark 06 are 1280 x 1024 and 1280 x 960 (normal and widescreen resolutions)

I guess it wouldn't hurt if those with widescreens redo their benchies...

well it's widescreen being pushed now... and i just making a suggestion based on what i observed

I my scores are more or less the same since changing from a 4:3 to a 16:9 display.. so i would say that there should be no issue really...

The most i can do is to post comparative scores as i have both a 4:3 and a 16:9 display... hell, i'll start a thread for that purpose..

even if your monitor is a 16:9 ratio it WOULD be able to display 4:3 aspect ratio good enough for the purposes of the benchmark. Even with my 22", 3dmark06 comes up on 1280x1024 by default and the tests look fine.

I think w1n's case is special though since he is running a HD television which is restricted to showing one resolution only. As for the rest of us, we should be fine.

Changed the 8800 GTS 320mb to an 8800 GT 512mb
