ok i have another screen shot.. i think i need a better cpu cooler as well.....

heres the 4.5ghz i did with the ocz vendetta..everything waz nice and stable for movies and so on..but as soon as i drop the cpu bench on it..it crapped out... temps where gettin to high

the SPP and FSB voltages were up as well

Interesting...madd quad-core OC coupled with what is essentially GTX295 GPU performance.

Impressive.

Benchmarks are one thing, but is that OC stable ?
Read some of the other benchmark threads (particularly mine, and Captain Awesome's) so you can have an idea
of what I'm blabbering about.

Upgrade to Windows 7 though...THEN we can talk.

Yeah that xp sillyness fail im one time. Like yuh not realising that xp is dx9 only and limiting every single dx10 title to dx9 mode.

Nonetheless, nice job on the overclock. Now to prove that its stable.

im using 4.4 constantly.. 4.5 will need a new cooler

and my north,south bridges voltages up already

so i`m good where it is

thanks for the advice tho, a few guys from www.guru3d.com and i were comparing settings and so with similar hardware, so i got that covered.

no need to put the score in the ranking guys

i`m good with XP for now until i get a cettain new part... and the 2 gtx260s ah bit higher than a single gtx295

Which is why I used the word 'essentially'. The difference is less than 10% in almost every game tested.
The very article you quoted made this quite clear.

Do you think you can 'see' a 10% fps difference in every game you play? If so, you in the wrong wuk.

pfft @ prime what I din know your pc was a time machine transport we back to 2005?

To get a decent gauge of stability...real stability, u have to run prime at least 48 HOURS.

Anything less than Intelburn and you're wasting your time. Half hour w/o errors is all you need.

Dont get me wrong, no hating here, just facts.

The proof is in the pudding mate. You can't 'jus come' and show us a screenie with a 3DMark score,
in a OLD OS to boot, then say it 'stable as ever' and then just lef it so?

We needs da proof. Simple as that.

...and trying a fast one by using XP aint helping either. That might fool some other n00bs out there,
but the enthusiasts on THIS site aren't fooled one bit. WE know why yuh use XP.

always remember, theres someone out there better than u, and i dont mean me, but yall arent the best .. i didnt come here for respect either, but to show a friendly screen shot which of course seems to have squeezed some ballz bags for some reason which i`m not sure..

if u really do think why i used XP, i guess my friend from here told u guys than my sound blaster live 5.1 only supports windows xp and i wanted something to run my altec lansing 641 set nicely until i got my new x-fi .. cuz i waz in windows 7 at 4.4ghz stable but did NOT like for one bit how the altecs sounded with the on board

and to make matters worse the SB live i have is OEM from dell with a different chipset which dell only have support for so no other drivers wud work for it...

and as far as my OC goes... u are free to SAY all u want about it.. i know for a fact what really is goin on with MY system...lol

i just knew this wuda happen if i posted those screens, regular guys from here did tell me "arcman and captain" wuda be the fuss to comment against.. i guess yall jus keep proving ppl's statements over and over wen they say
" them gatt men feel they know everything "

this isnt my 24/7 pc either, that how i can afford to reinstall and so as much as i want, i have something else for browsing and watching porn. as a matter of fact all that has on it: drivers and utilities.

i guess it waz useless to try and join back this site, thinking you guys changed yes.

i`ll have to talk to my friend about tellin ppl i dont, like my business...

Men ask questions, legitimate reasonable questions like, what did you do to test the stability of this system.
Did you run burn in for any length of time and your offended.

Also you make personal attacks against members, mods at that.

i not a big fan of tt cases but the internals get win, can't take that from them.

is the psu drawing air from in or out the case (like does the other side have a mesh or sum)

Nobody here EVER stated that they know everything. Not too sure where u pull THAT rabbit from. We are just able to recognise that your 4.4ghz overclock, while admittedly is a feat in itself, its stability goes COMPLETELY unverified. Saying "yuh sure" your system stable dont mean jack to us.

I dont think thats an unreasonable assessment. Simply running some tests is all it takes to show us how stupid we really are.

I like to think of myself, and by extension my colleagues here, as a very reasonable, level headed bunch. That said, kudos to a good looking system and an excellent job on cable management. Lovely case as well. I can also attest to the fact that the dell sb live only work with dell drivers and that under windows 7 they are a hot mess. I myself had the same problem until I got the X-fi Xtreme Gamer so I recognise the choice to stick with xp until.

If, as you say, you are able to install as much as you want, why not put win7 on it and run the same benchies there, THEN you'll see what we talking about.

Of course, if you do, fine. If not, rest assured that we eh loosing no sleep over it.

I am truly disappointed by your response. Others have been called to account in the same way,
and rose to the challenge. Even me.

If that's the stance you want to adopt, then by all means, do so. Its a free country.

I never attacked you personally, but you seem to think 'arcman and captain' know everything,
and are somehow 'against' you. I'm actually glad you posted pics of the rig, because it looks
absolutely gorgeous. I actually wish MY rig could look like that internally. Every time I see
stuff like that, I am reminded that I DO NOT know everything.

I would still like to welcome you back though, in spite of everything.
