COD4 is all I have to play Too bad I'm not very good though. I bought a headset just to play this game but it seems nonody uses it online much. I ready to play anytime. Somebody call a day and time.
What's the best perk and gun?

The best Gun would be M16A with Deep Impact and the other perk that starts with an "S" can't remember now too tired. I barely play COD 4 on the PS3 since I play it mostly on the 360 on Xbox Live. But I guess I can start getting back into the PS3 version...but that damn controller is so hard to use for FPS....

Now reach level 30! I use stopping power and the one where you drop a grenade when you die. I get a few extra kills with that. I now start to get more kills than deaths:)
Anyone up for some COd4 this weekend? I want try shoot some trinis

I talk all the time and if i get a team who have mics and use teamwork we ar almost guaranteed to win.  plus if you playing with friends it makes it more enjoyable.

hadda play with a good team. Random online matches have the little kids and attitude gamers though.
Get a lil clan or group and it much much more fun. Them LIVE men have it down "cork!"

Failure rate on ps3 supposed to be real low but it seems the failed disc drive is becoming a big problem. I was worried about going next gen too. thats why I waited a year and i choose sony (they have the games i like too). what can I say.....$hit happens. Hope my replacement comes soon and lasts long.

Thats really messed up...
Did you do basic troubleshooting steps though?

Restore Default System Settings, Format Drive etc...

The 40gb model seems to be the only one i know to experience that drive issue...
if possible see if you could upgrade to an 80...



(Regarding online play with you guys...My connection has been dial-up and less for the past 3 weeks..)
ISP is upgrading network over the course of this month...
So I could sign in...but can't play any games without EXTREME LAG and getting bumped off...

I was watching one of Jeff Gertsmans podcasts from a couple months back. He had the PS3 in the background playing music and the damn thing froze on him.
Honestly i dont like the transition of the PS3 when it goes from the dash to the game and back. It screws up the Ps3 interface. Whatever reason they have for doing that is stupid and needs to be changed.
Consumers dont care if it needs to reset the controler, or if it needs to reset the OS, they want a smooth transition. Fix it!
