went on earlier, and not surprising I hate Resistance online too....Apprentice capped out on us, it was me and Chanster. I very much dislike the friend list setup that you have to do in the game itself in order for you to invite your friends on your regular PSN list. It is very tedious and retarded in my opinion. I shall be trying to get rid of this game as soon as possible as it is the worst FPS I have ever played. The online gameplay is too fast paced and the graphics are so bad it hurts my eyes. I will definitely be getting COD 4 for PS3 because Resistance is a waste of my time and money...BLEH!

I hardly ever played Resistance online, the same time I bought resistance I had just got R6V and that one pretty much blew that game away.  I have some bad news for yuh though, if you thought Resistance inviting friends was bad COD4 one on the ps3 is done worse.  We were suppose to get a patch for it but as of today only 1 patch was issued and that was for connection problems.  Basically it's like this, you cannot gain access to your friend list while you Play COD4 or read friend messages.   The most you can do is invite a friend to a party or game if they are also on COD4 online.  I know it sorta sucks and frustrating at times since I pretty much have to send a friend a message before the game starts up, ask him if he wants to play some COD4, start up the multiplayer, then Invite him to my party.  It's tedious sometimes, still though it's the best online experience on the PS3 since R6V and is probably the most played currently by ps3 gamers.

they really need to improve that invite system, that's where Xbox live is second to none...The dashboard system on the Xbox 360 controls everything, from chats, to game invites, to managing friend lists, to sending MSN Messenger messages to your Messenger friends, Sony has ALOT of work to do. The current set-up is beyond retarded...I mean to have to add friends to your list everytime you want to play a new game is just plain stupid. With the dashboard on Live you have ONE list of friends that you can invite into ANY online game you have, plain and simple. Come on Sony, this Home thing you working on better improve on the current stupidity...

yer for once I have to agree with you Redlum on Sony really messing up the online system...
Xbox Live's got it good...
Sony really has to act quickly...

Because people with 360's are gonna be investing in PS3's and when they start to compare....They ain't gonna be happy with their purchase...

But as people say, you get what you get for free...

The thing about Sony as well as Nintendo is they completely Underestimated the Power of the Multiplayer.  Sony is a generation behind and Wii is even worse when it comes to its online community and features.  Microsoft had their trial and error time a long time ago while the PS3 is currently going through it which in a way is hurting them since they have to play catch up.

Chanster Good COD4 game last night man, remember them position I give you, just incase you have a group chasing yuh it's a good place to duck hide, watch them go by and Pop them in the head.  Now I'm wondering if I should go Prestige (for those who don't have cod4 you basically give up all your unlockables to get a badge that signifies you gave up everything and started over again.

Well I got COD 4 on PS3 and I have leveled up to 10 in just under 1 hour. I find that the players on PS3 are not as challenging as the Live crowd. Maybe its just me, but I was getting 20 - 30 kills a game. Only complaint I have is the controller. I am so used to the Xbox 360 controller that it took a little while to get used to the PS3 thumb stick locations. I think for FPS games, the Xbox 360 controller is much more ergonomic and easy to use. All in all the game feels exactly the same to me and I look forward to sweating with you guys soon. Peace!

P.S. I have also picked up Unreal III, so will be checking that out soon too....

Red you want a challenge? I'm waiting man and ready, pick your Gun, Map, and Restrictions, I'm down for anything.  The controller thing is debatable though man, I've been playing FPS on the ps for a long time and have become very used to it.  I had the same trouble when I played halo for the first time, took me a while to get used to there the analog sticks were.

Well I was more thinking of setting up a Trini team to play against people., not so much against each other, but I'm up for anything I guess.

Maybe you should look into an update for your router...I have a D-Link but it might be a newer model..No problems with mine.

well red i thought u said u wanted a challenge so i was gonna give you one .  If you want to play a game with trini's that aint a prob with me either. (especially since I lend my friend all my ps3 games except COD4)

my router is a net gear, it aint a bad one really.  I never really had a problem with it except MPO online, but that was my mistake.  It's also a fairl cheap one too I believe I bought mine for like $30 US
