Shoulda get ah z170 board and overclock it. Locked skylake rel easy to overclock.

That system is always changing.

Don't be surprised if you see a Kaby Lake CPU and Z270 mini-ITX board in this rig in the future...once the price is right.

In case you didn't know:

1. Arc already has a maxed out, overclocked system, in case you haven't perused this entire thread of all the upgrades - and overclocking - he's done over nearly 10 years. You're not telling him anything he hasn't already researched.

2. Not everyone is an overclocker, or needs to overclock their PC. I fail to understand how his decision not to OC his secondary PC is burning money.

It's just a suggestion to make it a little interesting, and some info for people that forgot or may not know. No need to get all defensive. Just a brief read through the forums, I already know he's experienced, and I already know he like's to bun money on tech (which is something I woulda do if I had d money), that's no secret.

I considered overclocking for that system, but nah...main rig for that...for now anyway.

Upgrades for the MGR again...

Yeah, the MGR is 'growing up' a bit, into the micro-ATX form-factor, leaving behind the stellar Define Nano S
for it's slightly larger Define Mini C cousin. Also taking advantage of slightly newer tech in the H270 chipset on this new motherboard...
