Anyway...this case here is mih real hoss too.
This beauty will allow my components to 'stretch out' and finally optimise airflow.  Of course with liquid
cooling on everything, airflow will be less of a problem, but we shall see how de funds running 'for de Christmas'.

Don't get me wrong eh...I read, and re-read everything, but my reasons for upgrading anything
is not solely for benchmarking eh.  Get that clear.  The case upgrade is not a 'improve score' one.
Not by any means.  I am quite happy with the performance as is.  The Cooler Master case is a
LOT more orderly than my current one, and soundproof, and bigger, and could hold watercooling
apparatus as well.

Archman, if you really interested about upgrading to water, check out the rig, the case is a small midtower, sound proff from the get go, i did buy extra sound proffing for the inside which was not a break bank (not that i need it with the water, but i was on air before), check out how i ran the water colling equipment, tell meh wha yau think. i all the stuff from performance-pcs.

My primary reason for using the Q9300 in the 1st place was because of the extra heat output
of the B3 stepping Q6600 I used before.  The G0 version was not widely available at the time,
so I went with what was available and affordable.  What's the 'crime' in that?
I am fully aware it does not OC as well as the G0 Q6600, as some results on this very forum will attest to. So what?  All that in it.
It is that very diversity in components and results that can guide others when they want to upgrade.  You yourself phoenix,
seem to forget that it was on my recommendation and mini-review, that you decided to get the same Asus P5Q-E that your
rig now sports.

OK, so my CPU is not yielding the performance numbers that I would like, but again so what?  It has served me without fault,
and I see no other reason to upgrade other than to 'beat score' or have 'the best rig'.  Especially with Corei7 around the corner.

yeah the G0 made a big diffrence, i was stuck on 3.2 with voltage i was comfy with in the B3, the G0 the door for more Hz with lest voltage, yeah before i installed the asus board, i tested on my old 680i same OC and ran occt for 2 hours, whiles i could have get the same OC, the temps was higer by far compared to the water, something like 77 to 79 degrees on load it was on air

(it could have just be the shitty 680i board need more volts to keey the 3.6, the asus alot better on that front, but donthave results for it on air running onthe asus)

Duly noted.  The watercooling will come when I have money for everything.
Till then is plenty more research.  I looking for a rad setup that can mount up inside
the case, preferrably just under the 200mm top fan.

Take Phills advice and go with a good rad, otherwise dont even waste your time. Especialy with the All-In-One liquid solution, dey all suck.
Thermochill, Black Ice Gen 2 (my current rad, which im willing to sell to arcman when he's ready )  or Farseer's new rad.

Dont waste your time on the rest. Swiftec or Lian for pumps.

Well Matthew, I think he IS taking Philosophical's advice, u ent hear him say "The watercooling will come when I have money for everything." Just because a BMW go run nicer than a Toyota, doesn't mean that he should scrunt in the meantime to wait until he gets the BMW...let him take his time, he doesn't have as wide a budget as some other ppl in here who can afford such solutions in one go...

I think he'll take on ur advice in due time, don't stress him out to go the whole shebang in one shot...u can't blame him for looking to do the research himself in the meantime...

Anyways, i was re-inforcing what phil said, i was not implying he woudl or woundlt take the advice. i was just giving my own.

Also, in water cooling there is no Range, Is either yuh spend a certain amount upfront, or you dont. there is no toyota and bmw,

When you get into watercooling, the only way to get a proper return on your investment, is to spend a certain amount up front.
Otherwise much cheaper air solutions is going to totally murder you liquid. For instance. All those All-in-one kits, is going to be totally beaten,
By a Thermalright Ultra Extreme, or a OCZ Vendetta 2. Ive been through a range of solutions so i know what im talking about.

So if you cant foot for the good stuff, dont waste your money, becuase the guys with the cheap stuff in air is going to get better thermal performance.

And nobody is saying he cant do research, but i think the purpose of these forums is to give advice, and help ppl, and give guidance into the direction they shoudl take
to maximis price/performance. And since i already went through all this stress, i telin him one time, dont waste time on All-In-One solutions.
Start reseraching d good stuff, and save money to go for it.

Scene.

Rad - Black Ice Gen 2, Farseer's New Rad (Currently Best Rated RAD)
Pump - Lian or Swiftech (Both are awsome and rated about the same, but swiftech is more popular, so comes down to preference, im personaly runing swiftech)
Res - There are tons of resevoirs available, this one comes down to preference and desired mounting style. Passively cooled res can aid thermal performance (i.e. res with heatsink)
Loop Size - 3/8" and 1/2" are the most popular, so most equipment, conectors, and nicknacks are either of these sizes. 1/2" tubing/connectors are ideal, as seen in iseme2003's rig.
Tubing - Choose tubing that avoids kinks. Kinks are the worse thing to happen to your system.
Flow Indicator - Not nessasary but  very useful to ensure your liquid is flowing properly. Helps with Loop diagnostics. (Kinks, Clogs, etc)
Fans - Choose the fans to cool your rad carefully. Look for fans with a good Airflow:Noise ratio. Thermaltake currently has the best, high 78CMF Airflow with little noise.
Liquid - There are many types of fluids avaialbe to use with your system. But the cheap and better thing to do is make your own. Distilled Water + Radiator Coolant + Algee Killer, and you're good to go. we could talk about mix ratios if you decide to go that route. But its cheap, you have TONS of fluid avaialbe for draining, flushing, toping up your system etc. And you coudl go down d road anytime and get yuh materials lol.

Think thats about it, there are other stuff like connector types and what not, but you coudl sort that yuhself with some reserach.

Still have some neatning up to do, especially around the PSU area, but thanks to the space
under the mobo tray, I was able to hide the majority of cables there.  Antec was good enough
to provide re-usable plastic straps for just this purpose.
