Ok people, I finally got through and spoke with 2 different individuals, here is the deal...they are not doing any connections as of now.  It just so happens that my area is  covered in the Phase 1 but they said it will not be ready for another 4-6 weeks.  As a matter of fact they said no upgrades anywhere will be done before this time.

Now we can all stop calling 62-BLINK and go on with our regular lives.

same info I got here, except they told me within the week they'll start making hookups. I didnt hear anything about 4 to 5 weks. Also, customers currently in a contract will be migrated to the new service so all ye contract holders need not be worried. Also, you will be able to sign up over the phone, so no need to actually go into TSTT to upgrade.

i really hope that is the case, cuz my boss (who made at least 3 trips into Town to 'organise' his TSTT high speed, gave up) didn't even have to call up Flow, they called him and he said "yes, come on over and hook me up"

My concern still stands! will the price cuts be ACROSS the board? or only to those in areas with ADSL2 and 'blink' availability?

Does this mean that i can sign up for the upgrade and when they start they will switch me over or will i have to wait until they start the upgrade in order to sign up(meaning upgrade my current internet)

I guess we just have to wait and see what information is forthcoming in the coming days...

Meanwhile, the Blink Broadband page has been updated with new coverage areas and instruction for a modem setting change.

I guess some of those Flow customers who 'jumped ship', and are now ketching their proverbial
ASSES with bandwidth, must SURELY be cussing rather loudly right about now.  You can say
what you want about TSTT's DSL service for the past 3 years, but one thing you CANNOT
say, was that it was 'inconsistent'.  My pr0n collection, and game collection, and software collection,
and anime collection, can attest to that.  Then there are the many overnight sessions on Xbox Live and
Battlefield 2/2142.

I'm pretty sure TSTT won't have this particular 'bandwidth' problem. :happy0203:

ADVISORY:

Blink's website has been updated.

Added a page for configuring the modems and a sign up page.. I guess they finally ready for the masses.

I wasted no time in filling out the form.

As for the modem setup, I saw nothing different form what us techies already know.

I heard that they're gonna take as long as 4 to 6 weeks to process those things. TSTT again. my DSL went down early this morning, check me looking going directly to speedtest to check bandwidth. Nothing...
