She should be able to let us know what is possible with using there as a reg venue.

speaking of which, I remember some men came down HQ and well cut our collective tails in Naruto. These men have REAL skill.

Don't think Crixx ever got to play 'em. Pity. The rest of us really wasn't worthy competition for 'em.

I love the idea of spreading some tourney love to less popular games. It works well for introducing it to a larger crowd. Hyping the results after the fact will give some good mileage.

Something that we have been lacking on off late.

The best known expose was the King of Fighters tourney at SNS how many moons ago. We really made a fan fare of that before and after the fact.

History teaches some good lessons. What say you NEO? Up to the challenge? (rhetorical question, I know)

In any case the general consensus is it too far for us to come out for just a one time thing, and for allyuh to be out of practice, zeal and cube well all I can really say is that we will try to make it up there friday AND saturday, but for us to put out like that and not see allyuh even makin a effort ent exactly a welcomin thought.

NEO was looking to do an event and I have links there so I can get a good rate on some floor space or so for a tournament.

That's the bone that I can throw.

Don't see how that is going to help you in your quest for a Naruto 4 beating.

As for not making an effort....tell me, what would you consider to be adequate effort?

Paint some scenarios and let us see how best we can come up to scratch.

-Oraganisin a cube for HQ so that you can practice at least (which really isn't my concern), and host us there.

-Locating a GL that is free to have us come in and play there, which is mutually easy for both parties to get to, transport, distance and timing wise.

-Making more suggestions, as to such factors as the when, the where, the players, the challengers so this can come off as smoothly and as rewarding for both parties, which can lead to future sweat events and tournament activity.

Scene everybody, long time out of the forums, work has relly taken out a lot of time and plus this stinkin ancient piece of crap caused delays as well...

so kimi has brought the fight to you guys  and speaking on behalf of the THREE fighting memebers of speed's crew( we lost the last one to chasing med students) we are more than ready and willing to test both parties skills, we would want to see the skills possessded by you guys and test our own to see where we can improve, i mean its only soo much times we can play our own team...

chakra low these days, so a compromise has to be made on the venue...this saturday looks to be the most oppurtune time to hold this sweat, u guys call the location and time YOU ARE FREE, so there shall be no excuses on your collective behalf ...one request though is that u plz make the location closer at least in barataria, st joseph, st augustine or even movie town as kimi said if it is possible.

a) Organisin a Cube

Personally, I have bought three game cubes for HQ already. I am not planning on buying a fourth (unless I win lotto)
You see, we charge a lowly $6.00 an hour to use the gaming system and the console does not earn it's keep. Having already invested in three game cubes, Naruto 3, Naruto 4, two freeloaders (which aren't free despite the name, lol), two memory cards, four controllers. Well you get the picture. It is quite a bit of money.

Also, due to poor monitoring, members tend to play on the console system for free a lot. Just making matters worse. In short, it is not financially viable. Our love and passion for console gaming is the only reason we got the systems in the first place. That passion hasn't waned but the wallet has, lol.

A cube will have to be acquired either very very cheaply or via donation.

b) Free GL. See this has a lot to do with point A. Free is going to be a problem for a GL. They have bills to pay. Lots of 'em. The going rate at HQ of $6 an hour is fair. I don't think that should be an issue. As for location. Where are you guys situated again?

If you cannot find a GL in close proximity to us and yourself, then what about a residence? You'll get your free play as well as not having to worry about us providing a cube.

c) Tournaments requires players. An active player community. That has seriously been dampened by HQ not having a cube for our players to rally around. Don't think any other GL pushed GameCube and Naruto. It is a bit of a hard sell given the poor financial prospect of it as mentioned in point (a). Not many GL owners will take it up. The best hope then is players training at home. A bit of a manhunt may be required but if we can find 16 naruto players who have their own setup, tournaments would be practical.

Hope this helps push us in the right direction.

Should have specified sorry, I meant a GL that would be able to host us, that was free in terms of booking, other events, etc. We located mostly from grand baazar go up to trinicity. The closest man to you fellas livin in malik.....I mean barataria
