well i know i liked it. i used a few big words in that other post where i didn't know this one existed. everything was pleasing. the fights to the reused dialogue, fighting techniques, and even a scene. it gave the feeling that the beginning and end are inextricably linked to one another. lots of neat little metaphors that give it depth

**SPOILERS**

Awesome.

I really enjoyed it.

That ending fight alone made the film for me. The Siege of Zion rivals the Battle of Helm's Deep imo.

As for the ending and the resolution of the War...I'm satisfied with it. I actually appreciated it. Kinda cloudy, yeah, but Jah...what hasn't been in this entire trilogy? We knew a sacrifice was coming, and we knew that Smith wouldn't simply be defeated in battle...that would be too simple.

Everything that has a beginning has an end. Neo and Agent Smith were polar opposites representing the two different sides of the Matrix: the human aspect and the machine aspect. They represented the War.

Regardless of which one won, the end of their struggle would bring about the end of the current Matrix cycle. So Neo didn't have to win. The fight just had to end. It was inevitable, just as Smith knew all along. He just didn't know the other side of the equation that Neo represented. Without Neo, he doesn't need to exist. He isn't ABLE to exist without Neo. He destroys Neo and he destroys himself.

Same as the Machines and Humanity. One can't exist without the other. The end of one results in the end of everything. Peace was inevitable. The Prophecy was always true. It had to be.

Anyway, that's just the way I perceive it. Everyone else can have a different opinion, but the film made me feel good. I left the cinema feeling great.

Even I, who haven't yet seen this movie, knew that the ending wouldn't be all that.  I mean, how could you end something so sick?  You can't really.  This show will own many minds in the few coming weeks.

CC8  here I come......again......the arcade wil be MINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Sweet Saturday.

*Runs around naked*

IM FREEEEE IM F@*KING FREEEEE!!!!!!!!!

THE MATRIX IS DEAD FINALLY THE TORTURE HAS ENDED!!!!!!

I dont have to listen to people incessantly compare our reality to the matrix.

I dont have to listen to people who are completely computer illiterate bash the Architect for talking too much.

I dont have to listen to the fools who think the matrix trilogy has the best fight scenes ever.
(ok the supermanesque fight scene was cool)

Most of all I had the pleasure of watching people who didnt understand reloaded attempt to understand revolutions.Oh how their brains floundered. Many of them walked out of the cinema with a confounded look on their faces.

ITS OVER!!  IM FREE YOU MCS!!

THANK YOU, KAYODE!!! Thank you for being the only one in this entire thread with the mental capacity to comprehend the underlying theme of the matrix trilogy ending. You have got to be the 3rd person i have seen in the week whose recognized that. everyone else was too STUPID to see it.

****SPOILERS INCLUDED IN POST***************************

I agree with you Grasshopper. Because everyone who saw it before me kept arguing how the ending was chupidness and how they could've end it so. I sat down in a local cine (that's rite, not CC8!)and i watched the movie. I waited for this big unexpected crappy ending ppl was propehicising (i told them don't spoil it for me.) and it never came. The ending was simple, but realistic. Exactly what they said all the time came true. As Kayode stated, the Prophecy WAS TRUE
I think what was upsetting to most was how Agent Smith died. I think they wanted Neo to kill him by himself and not with the help of the machines.... I'm not sure. One other thing i noticed, was that the prophecies were more straightforward this time. In reloaded, the Oracle was tiefin man head and the Architect was jus confusing men who doh really like to listen and all that. In Revolutions, they water it down to the point where the Oracle was giving straightforward answers. It didn't leave people guessing. I think they made it simple, so that people wouldn't have to stop and ask ' WHAT THE $@^$ SHE WAS TALKIN BOUT?!',  since it is the final one, they wanted to make everything clear. But even with all that, people didn't grasp the deeper meaning of the show. Even if they didn't get the DEEPER meaning they couldn't accept that the war IS over (for now) and that Neo dead.

****SPOILERS*******

Tell me this.  Who said Neo was dead?  All they showed was his body being dragged off.  That's where they left the opening for Matrix 4 if they feel like it.  The anomaly will be expressed as both beginning and end, thus justifying that everything that has an end, has a beginning.

Come nuh Imperial. Doh give the fan boys any ideas. THE MAN IS DEAD FOR NOW UNTIL HE REINCARNETES HIMSELF. The equation is balanced, there is no extremity for now. All of the people are going to be freed. The machines and humans are both at a cease fire. Morpheus get back he woman. ARGUE WIT DAT 1!!
