Neo kills smith while he has possessed everyone in the Matrix, the experience of being possessed and killed gives everyone the knowledge of the truth. When Smith is killed it triggers a chain reaction causing everyone to reject the Matrix and wake up. The result is that everyone plugged in generates twice as much electrical energy as normal and causes a HUGE power surge which destroys all the machines in the world's power grid. The War is won and Neo escapes the Matrix just barely. Zion is in ruins but the World is saved. Humans begin to rebuild.

50 yrs later, Neo is ontop on a building and is surveying how much progress humans have made rebuilding. He hears footsteps and tuens around to see Agent Smith standing behind him. He stares at smith, who says nothing and pushes Neo over the edge of the building. Neo falls and is amazed by the appearance of Smith in the 'real' world. His life and struggles in the Matrix flash before him as he falls. His vision goes light b4 he hits the ground.

Neo wakes up back in the pod where the human batteries are kept. His body has aged but he appears to still be "attached" to the pod in the fields of humans. A sentinel comes down and it's arm wraps around Neo's neck. It pulls him in close and a voice says fromt he machine's speaker...."Mr. Anderson, Welcome to the "real" world".

For those of you pissed off about the ending

Smith is Neo's, opposite/Negative. So.....
Neo = The One or 1, Smith = The Negative One or -1.

So when Smith took over Neo, -1 + 1 = 0.
The whole point was to bring a balance or peace to the world.

ay chick, is like it was a last minute ting and ah end up not goin again anyhow cause our sound system had to spin at a 'social soiree' that same evening, so well......

ok i really enjoyed this movie.
saw it yesterday and yes i did fall asleep for a part
told you all i was cursed
but the parts i did see were good
