no is not that he ging to be dropped because of bad performance

but he pulled his back during the match and it has to be rested
plus there are other yung payers in the side thatneed a chance
like ravi rampaul and them

but what they should
if it is they see that bowler is too costly
switch to another pace and style bowler
it is very effective
cuz when fidel edwards debuted
they mainly depended on gale and hinds to take wickets
but fidel edwards waz the one with the 5 wicket haul
cuz of the difference in line and pace

Taylor Out of Second Test
Tuesday, November 11 @ 12:58:41 EST
Teenage pacer Jerome Taylor will miss the second Test against Zimbabwe starting on Wednesday and the smart money is on spinner Omari Banks cracking into the final eleven.
The West Indies selectors included Banks and experienced fast bowler Merv Dillon among 12 players for the second and final Test. The final eleven will be decided on Wednesday morning.

well let's see what dillon has
again it is early into the series and we have to try our players

and yes Banks is ideal, this is a spinner's pitch, however one must question why a specialist spinner was not named in the side. We have struggled to find one, Hooper was an all rounder batsman, just like Banks is.... let us hope it works out well

UPDATE ON 2ND TEST:

Choosing to bat, the West Indies were 253 for three in their 1st innings at tea on the opening day of their second and final cricket Test at the Queens Sports Club on Wednesday.

At the tea break the not out batsmen were West Indies captain Brian Lara on 68 and vice captain Ramnaresh Sarwan on 32.

snake eater don't talk too soon we have to go there thinking they are just as good as us, underestimation will be our greatest downfall, remember it is only the 1st day of the test and in the 1st test zimbabwae made 509/6 or sumthing

UPDATE:

BULAWAYO, Zimbabwe  - West Indies captain Brian Lara scored a brisk half-century to put West Indies in control on the first day of the second Test against Zimbabwe at the Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo today.

Lara, who won the toss and opted to bat first, was 77 not out and Windies 282-3 when bad light and rain ended play seven overs after tea.

Lara struck 12 fours in 92 balls, sharing in an unbroken fourth-wicket stand of 121 with Ramnaresh Sarwan, who was 46 not out at the close. (More soon)
