Somehow i believe that this is a previous thread alrdy...if it isn't well then i'm in luck.

Neways...what i wanna know is pretty simple. how you got your call sign? What inspired it? Who gave it to you or did you create it your self? Are you comfortable with it?

Basically that's what i wanna know primarily because of guys like W1ntry as well as laertes and countless others that appear both frequently and infrequently on the forums.

Got mine cause i was a new gamer learning from evryone..moving around in terms of cafes as well...so i decide..humm like u need a name to play games with....since i new to all of this and watching lot of ppl play and learning as well...guess i'm an apprentice of sorts...that was basically it...then well my boy trump called me nah...to ask me if he could use it for his show....i was like no scn boss, u know we go way back like canerow....sry got carried away....

Neways that's my take on my call sign...would be very interested to know how some of the real interesting ones got theirs....

Um......like WASD I was in school and we were about to start an SC sweat and back then Bounty Killa kept saying CROSS,ANGRRY.MISEREBLE.......

So I figured since I will be pissin the hell out of people why not make it official

And Dougla Taishou (location unknown) well i was heavy into Bleach at the time but the handle Cross the Boss had stuck so i vaired it a little DT means (dougla boss)...

Hmmm... mine is so shameful. Well i saw a pic of a friend dancing like a 'bad ting' and i started calling him that (bad ting). So he decided to call me 'Sex Toy' (for what ever reason i don't know). So when i was introduced to gatt (which i thought the site was his project lol) it was the fastest name i could think of and decided to make the name a lil 'presentable' and put 'Sexie_Toy'... but i think i wanna change it to Pheonix because of Jean from X-men The Last Stand... what ya'll think?

Well back in the day me and a few friends started playing Quake 3 and then graduated to Unreal Tournament 2k4. We had all sorts of names like "killa" and "Sadman" at first but then after a while we noticed that the game would use your name when you killed someone, i.e. "You were killed by killa". We then started using all sorts of interesting and humorous names such as "a gun" and "gramoxone". One day I just called myself AIDS so that when i killed someone the game would say "You were killed by AIDS". Sadly the name stuck but is cool cause just like AIDS I kill with no discrimination and I can adapt to any new situation or tactic for my own survival. I was always the one to find new places to hide and rack up kills and I have a tendancy of stalking a player during a match. Almost always when someone kills me I respawn in the immediate vacinity and kill them back. In fact I do it so well sometimes that it appears as though I can't be killed so the name suits me just fine.

Oh, and one more thing, chicks like the name cause of the element of danger. They think I'm a bit of a bad boy to have a name like that.

Yeah most people does be kinda fraid to ask but I get accustomed. Men does be hailing me in town and thing. A time my pardna moms call me to get on to him and she was like "Hello AIDS, this is DEAD mom." It was one of the weirdest phone calls I ever got.

Nothing exciting.
I was on a Star Wars message board back in '97 and was just reading about the character Exar Kun in a SW novel so I took the name. I've used it on every message board since. I might have considered changing it for GATT when I first came but several people already knew me by this name from Tekken Zaibatsu so I kept it.
It's as much a part of me now as my real name.

In Shadow Warrior when you chose the easiest difficulty, Lo Wang would say 'You are tiny grasshoppa!' Back in school when we ran UT in the lab I used that sign and it stuck

hmm. doh know how i got "my thumbs hurt" for GATT really but my real nickname is"suzie" aka "suzieBoy".....Long story short, YEARS BACK my good friends was wondering if i was a girl wat my name wud of been and fair enough they came up wit "suzie",i dont know, i jus look like a Suzie....till this day everyone calls me that...hey chicks dig it...lol...even on the football field and all my gaming callsigns.
