oh an arc, when u overclocking her, make sure tell she to hold it an handle it nice nah gyurl ^_^

hahahahahahahahahaaaa

Total so far: $8546 TT, which is within the $9000 TT budget I set for the parts themselves.

Crixx, I looked at that Cooler Master Mystique, and while it IS a nice case, I dont like the doors
and I certainly DO NOT LIKE the placement of the USB/ firewire/mic/headphone ports.

Who exactly voided the transaction? NewEgg or PayPal?

Didn't you add your shipping address to your Cr. Card Details? Did you put it in your PayPal account details?

Newegg voided it.  Paypal did their part sweetly.
To answer your questions Voyd, yes, and yes.

I CALLED Newegg customer service and even the rep I spoke to couldn't
give me much info.

I guess its back to good old, reliable Amazon (sigh) when I get my money back.

At least Paypal has already received the refund from Newegg, and sent it to Visa,
so maybe I'll get my refund on my card in days and not weeks.

Due to Newegg fuX0ring all my efforts, I was forced to look for an alternative HSF.
I decided to go with this: the Zalman CNPS9500

http://www.amazon.com/Zalman-CNPS9500-Ultra-Quiet-Cooler-Socket/dp/B000C0V5RU/ref=pd_bbs_3/002-7422471-7878463?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1173954501&sr=8-3

I also looked at the CNPS9700, but I am very wary of its size, so I'll go with this one instead.
One distinct advantage with this cooler is that it can be mounted to face in any direction, so
hot CPU air can be aimed at the back of the case and immediately exhausted.

Well, as of today everything has been ordered, so I should begin receiving items from Thursday (22/03/07).

Grand Total (with all shipping to Miami): $1506.76 US

which comes out to approximately $9537.79 TT
Lets see what the eZone charges are after I get everything in my hand.

I was forced to go over my initial $9000 TT budget because of the shipping and extra tax charges that Amazon applies.
Also, Amazon's prices (especially for PC parts) are higher overall.

The saga continues.....

dude i was screwed over the same way

now i'm an Amazon Prime member :)

Quote
Also, Amazon's prices (especially for PC parts) are higher overall.
some of there parts cost more
my OCZ GameXStream 700w was 133US + 3.99 One day shipping (Prime!!!)
and i check it later on newegg it was about 160+

i used to think newegg was the shit.

on one small note when i first got the credit card.
i signed up in newegg the same day put in the card info and thing and order two dvd burner just to test it out.
few days later i get to product they get they money.

next time i trying to order a 500gb barracuda 10 on a sale for about 150US.
that is when they tell me that shit about not accepting international.

here is a log with one of the reps

Please wait while we connect you to a Newegg representative. You are number 1 in the queue.
Thank you for contacting Newegg. My name is Karen. How may I assist you today?
Larnelle: hello?
Karen: Hi Larnelle.
Larnelle: ok hi i'm curious about two orders i placed early today and one yesterday
Larnelle: now i know that u all dont shipping international, but i place an order for 2 dvd burner earlier this month
Larnelle: and i have received both burner in perfect condition, however yesterday i tried to order a 500gb harddrive
Larnelle: only to have the order cancelled to day stating that u all dont accept international cards.
Larnelle: is there any reason as to why i would receive an order the first time and not this second time??
Karen: Yes Larnelle. I noticed that. Your card was just detected as an international card, so the orders were voided. We did not detect your card on your previous orders so the order # ******** has been delivered...
Larnelle: ok so will i be able to order. or is the no international card issues still in effect?
Karen: Sorry that we do no accept international card at this time and we are unable to make any exceptions...
Larnelle: is there any time when Newegg will start accepting these cards??
Larnelle: also is there a more technical reason as to why most online vendors dont accept international cards??
Karen: We may accept it in the further but we do not know the exact time. We do not accept it because that system has not been built up...
Larnelle: ok Karen thank you for your time. i still feel hurt though. Have a goodnight
Karen: You too Larnelle. :)
Larnelle: :)

now i'm anti-non international credit card accepting online retailers.

"that system has not been built up" !!?

What a load of unadulterated bulls#!t.  If that was truly so, the FIRST  transaction should not have been accepted.
I don't know what their deal is with international cards, but I think 'Karen' was being a little less than honest
with you.

I spoke with a Newegg rep on the phone who told me basically the same things as stated above.
Sadly, I used to think they were tha shiznit too.  Now?  Not so much.

Amazon FTW yes.....
