GHOSTBUSTERS 3???

yup the 1980s supernatural comedy has a third movie slated for release, and apparently it will be fully CGI.

 Scott Weinberg  writes: "Canadian comedian Dan Aykroyd recently went on the air with a country music radio station, and that's where he chose to break some stunningly, well, kinda interesting news: There will be a third "Ghostbusters" movie (and it will feature Bill Murray) -- but it will also be a movie of the CGI persuasion. I'll believe it when I see it.

"Billy" being Bill Murray, of course. Seems he won't do silly live-action anymore, but that sure won't stop him from lending his voice to, say, "Ghostbusters 3" ... or "Garfield 2."

So, like most of you, I am an ardent supporter of the original "Ghostbusters," and, unlike many of you, I really freaking hate "Ghostbusters 2." So I ask you this: Does the idea of an all CGI "Ghostbusters 3" sound like a good idea? I say no, no it does not.

With all due respect, maybe Danny Aykroyd should start sniffing around for easier sequels. Weren't we promised a follow-up to "Doctor Detroit" waaaay back in 1983?

Actually, I don't mind. If anything, like the Transformers movie, it's another welcome throwback to my childhood.

It's not as if the original Ghost Busters are in the shape they were anymore to reprise their original roles. I think the CG movie might be good. I'd much rather an animated movie that resolves the events of the cartoon, but either way would be fine.

Aye i love an underdog story so i wouldn't mind seeing the ghostbusters going down in age and still fighting.

Makes for a good story ....a bunch of old men fighting some big old nasty demon and thing, with athritic fingers. Against all odds business.

Xtreme Ghostbuster was reaaaaalllly good in my opinion. Especially the episodes when the original ghostbusters came back.

anyone remember when the second movie was released they had these slimer cups that would change color?

I owned one. I'm not too sure if it used to change colour or if it just glowed in the dark.

My bad, they would glow in the dark, I got them confused with the Batman Returns cups

i STILL have my Batman returns cup, and it does turn grey when you put cold water in it (i put mauby in mine )

yeah hoss it did, but like all those glow-in-the dark stuff it need UV to be reactive, if you take it and rest in the sun for a 10 mins then in the dark, yuh go see what i talking bout, i think it does use the UV as a source of energy or sum...cause i remember a paddna had a black light that made those things shine!
