Ninja Warrior
« on: February 10, 2007, 02:46:28 PM »
I just saw this show for the first time on G4. It is unbelievable. Basically, there are 100 contestants who try to complete a 4-stage obstacle course that could have been designed to train ninjas. This show has to be seen to be believed. The amazing thing is that guys actually get through a lot of the obstacles. It is a Japanese TV show so a lot of the dialogue is in Japanese with subtitles but it just adds to the atmosphere. The show has been going on for some time now with some guys on for their 15th time. It was on today, Saturday, and I am not sure when else it is on. They aired quite a number of episodes back to back so you get to see guys passing through each of the stages. If you want to see something decent on G4, make sure to check it out.

lol....the two main ppl to look out for in Ninja Warrior are Shinatori Bunpei and Makoto Nagano...some seriously wicked fellahs, they skills real mad in that competition!

When they have their lil marathons on, I goes get glued to the TV until it done...and I'm not one to easily get stuck watching TV these days, so that says a bit.

Umm Arc, he managed to complete it later on, becoming only the 2nd person to complete the entire competition, it was one of the most recent events that he did it though...I managed to see it - he move like he have fricking nine-tails chasing him for that final stage :P...

allyuh thinking about entering that or what? Me and meh bro and some pardners thinking bout it. but that is real hard-ass work that you have to be doing. That is mad upper-body strenght that you need for the final stages.

you not talking about push-ups again. that is pull-ups, and plenty, for about a year

but it still look like fun though, no

I think there was one show where a guy from G4 was interviewing people from Ninja Warrior. The rest of the episodes are normal.
