**NOTE**
It is recommended that you port forward the port that you plan on using. This can be found in your modem settings. Personally I use 11000, but it can be any port.
Also be sure to tell the person that is connecting to port forward also. This will reduce any trouble in connecting.
**Troubleshooting**It is recommended that the person running the server have DMZ enabled. The process for enabling DMZ may vary depending on your DSL modem. EG
The speedstream 4200/4100 can access DMZ options by accessing the modem settings via the browser.
Then choose Setup>Firewall>DMZ
Then choose Enable DMZ with this Host IP address , next to it should be a dropdown menu where u can select the IP. Save your settings and exit the modem settings.
If DMZ is enabled then skip this step.
4. Run the server.
CONNECTING TO THE SERVER1. The emulators that can access a kaillera are as follows
- Final Burn Alpha (FBA & FBAEvo)
- WinKawaks
- MAME
- Nebula
The emulator that is used by the folks on my server is Final Burn Alpha & Final Burn EVO. Both can be found at
http://3s.ultra-gamers.com/Online2. To connect to the server Select Game > Play Via Kaillera
3. Choose a username and make sure your connection is set to LAN 60 KeyFrames.
4. Select Enter IP and enter the IP of your server with the port number included. (eg rb.myftp.org:11000). If you are the person hosting then enter the following localhost:(port number). Hit Connect!
