Chef dies.

Well, old news by now. Isaac Hayes has left the show, claiming that South Park is crossing the line when it comes to religion. According to the show's creators, though, Isaac only left because of the episode 'Trapped in the Closet', where Isaac's religion was parodied (He's a Scientologist) -any other time, he was cool with it, and saw it as 'satire'.

Hypocrisy? From the way I see it, could be. I mean, you've worked for a show for countless years on end based on making fun of otherwise sensitive topics, especially religion. You're cool with it until it's your religion that comes under fire, and then you start having 'moral issues'? Give me a break.

In the season premiere of South Park, Chef's character is retired, in quite possibly the gruesomest way imaginable. He gets (ahem) and I quote:

- Shot
- Hit by lightning
- Set on fire
- Falls off a bridge
- Impaled on a branch
- Devoured by wild animals
- And, finally, defecates on himself, confirming that he's dead.

Lol @darth Chef and wow @ leaving cause they pick on sciencetology , i mean it was only a matter of time before they came across his religion, since they have for years been systematically dismantalling numerous religions, so hypocrit, yes indeed.

Well....say what. The dude can SING no matter if he is a hypocrit or not. I will miss him on the show and i'm sure other pple will. Hmmmm he was prolly the only black person that appeared fairly regularly correct me if i'm wrong.

Love that name though, they readily admiting that he is a "token" black character

It looks like this thread's picked up some interest on being revived, so, no harm done, really.
Since the Chef Dies episode, though, I haven't really watched any new South Park episodes. For some reason, they just don't feel the same as they used to....
