Intel ATIX200 chipset Motherboard

I'd like to know what you guys thing of this mobo, i'm in a pinch for cash and it's the best one i can find with PCI-E for under TT$600. I've read the reviews and downloaded all the errata but i need the opinion of the hardcore pc users here, i'm planing on using a p4 lga 3 ghz chip on it.

 i'm selling my MSI 965 Neo - F for 1000...  PCI- E and conroe support so you can pop in a core  2 duo when you can afford it ... Never seen or used this mobo myself , and its kinda outdated so it likely sat on a shelf for a few years , but if there really are no other options , and you get the good warranty , go for it..

  Intel boards are stable , but no frills whatsoever.

really and truly there are no other options for me i bought a gig of ddr 3200 a week ago and my board fried.
So i had to look for the cheapest intel solution i could find with ddr support, pci-e and a 775 socket, the entire rebuild is costing about 2300 video card and all, the board's only beef with me is the lack of ht support.

I'm honestly pleased with the level of video from ait and nvidia onboard. My gf's pc used 6100m and my laptop uses 1150. you'd find that shader games run crappy, but there's enough power in there to run some games VERY nicely - try dungeon siege 1, 2, neverwinternights (running those at the full 1280x800), command and conquer generals, lego star wars 1, 2, morrowind, quake 1, 2, open gl remakes of doom, hexen, heretic freespace 2 etc.

you really went into the retro bin there.

It is a given that onboard video will handle such old games but don't expect magic with any of the newer demanding titles.

Rise of Legends, Dawn of War, Prey, FEAR, NFSMW , etc...

onboard video has come a long way since nforce shaked things up a few years ago.

I just emuled the .wad files
I HAD the games a long time ago but lost track since I left home.
If you wanna try it tell me and I'll pm you a link for the wads. you'd find doom in a bargin bin sometimes, but heretic and hexen are lost commercially.

I havent tried rise of legends yet, but nfsmw can run fine at low res without effects of course. halflife 2 runs just fine. no doom3 or quake 4 though Ran like molasses even at bottom.

I'd take you up on the offer but there are tons of great new games I've got to play before resorting to oldie goldies.

yeah, Half Life 2's ability to scale is legendary. Trini ran that on a Geforce 2 if I remember correctly. Playable too.
