Just thought to open a thread to site the technical stuff and hopefully to update on the regular. No more posting such things in intel related threads. So without further ado you can check out [H]Enthusiasts for an insigth into what the next AMD gen will be about and you will be able to see how it stacks with the competitors. At least so far.

 No big new performance features , just the shared L3 cache, just more power saving.  I don't believe this to be K8l , just the 65nm A64 dual and quad cores AMD promised us at the end of this year.... AMD will win out in power consumption again , but will have to sacrifice that if they want to clock high enough to beat intel ( and intel can still clock higher, longer pipeline) .

Trini this is NOT the first post on the K8L and if you've read the other related posts you'll KNOW that there are other features being introduced apart from what is seen here. These are just the beginnings of official releases by AMD. There are optimization abound and addition of either ALUs or FPUs I can't rem and a few other things. Time will ultimately tell, however as it stands this is a first look into K8L.
