I have a Mad Catz MC2 Universal steering wheel. It is compatible with Xbox, PS2 and Gamecube. I have had it for a couple years now and it has worked really well. Recently, though I noticed that the wire going from the pedals to the wheel is shorting. I have to make sure it is pointed upwards or the wheel does not receive any input from the pedals. I end up just pulling it up over the gear shift to keep it pointed up. The wire uses a serial connector to connect to the wheel but the side going into the pedals goes right in without any outer connector. Is there any way to fix this so that it would work normally? If there are any repair places that can help me out with this, I would be glad to find out.
