All,

Anyone with an iPod & iTunes can download video podcast.  What is a podcast?

Podcasting is the method of distributing multimedia files, such as audio or video programs, over the Internet using syndication feeds, for playback on mobile devices and personal computers. The term, coined in 2004, is a portmanteau of iPod and broadcasting.

So on iTunes podcast range from comedy, news, videos, radio etc.

Cool if you don't know...  Ask somebody!!!

never tried watching / playing a podcast on my ipod

don't care much for itunes on the whole.

just to synch my music and be done with it.

Missing out on a lot bro....

For those with an iPod you have to have the 4th generation iPod. That is, one woth video capabiltiy. If your screen is grey scale chances are it doesn't have video playback!!
